Sound stopped working after a week....,............

Does not work if you have separate mic and head phone jacks

The jack broke on the end. My son used them for about 2 weeks.

No good, my son said he couldn't hear other players........

Used the headphones twice and broke. Poor sound quality.

Me and my 11 year old have been going back and forth with the turtle beach recon 70 and another brand which we have been using for about a year now. There are a few differences that need to be pointed out. The turtle beach recon 70 are a little louder, but they have a much more dynamic sound which brings out a bit more detail in the games. The one feature that these have which is much better than the older set is the ability to mute the mic by simply raising it up and out of the way. I really like this feature as compared to fumbling around for a switch located on the cord someplace. The ear pads seem a little stiffer, maybe that will soften up with use, but overall these are really nice corded headset and a really good value for the retail price. I dont think anyone would be disappointed.

Ok gaming but that's all. It fits ok innthe ears..

Speaker is only producing chat in one ear.. though might be a factory setting this is disappointing when buying a full headset designed to produce sound in both ears

This is the perfect headset for any use. I did have a problem with the microphone being too low but that was quickly resolved with a few tweaks in Control Panel on Windows 10. It does squeeze my head a little too much, even with the extensions all the way out, but overall, can't complain. Works fine with PlayStation as well. Definitely a good headset for those with a budget and looking for something high-quality and affordable.

These were surprisingly good headphones considering what they cost. Using them is a breeze. I plugged them in to my PS4 controller via the 3.5mm jack and they worked right away. The sound is very good and the microphone worked well. No one told me they couldn't hear me and the flip up mute feature works as advertised. The only reason I took off a star was the ear muffs. The "premium synthetic" cushions kind of stick to my ears and weren't as comfortable as I felt that they could be. That being said, this is a great set of headphones at this price point.

They worked but did not seem to work any better than the earbud that came with the ps4. Not worth the money in my opinion.

This headset starts out good, but the mic stopped working only a few weeks after purchasing. Unfortunately, i did not buy a protection plan. I bought this and a black pair of the same brand and the exact same thing happened. This product is garbage. Don't waste your money. Spend a little extra and buy a better quality headset.

My husband and I aren't hard-core gamers so this doesn't get heavy use. The sound quality is pretty good for the price point and the over the ear style is very comfortable. The mic picks up any sound and is easy to mute by flipping up. This did require changing some device settings on the PlayStation to get it to work so don't expect a plug and play type thing. This is a good basic headset for the occasional gamer.

If you're unsure whether you want to gamble on "cheaper" turtle beaches, rest assured these are perfect. I have spent way too much money on headphones in the past, and to be honest, these sound and fit better than my previous ones. One thing I really like compared to my old turtle beaches is that the ear pieces kind of press against your head (comfortably) which enhances the sound, a feature lacking in the version I had.

Got this to replace an Amazon "cheapie" headset. This Recon 70 has decent sound and simple plugin to the PS4 controller without a bunch of other dangling long branch adapters and controls. Very nice and simplistic with the roller volume control on the earpad area and it's pretty slick that flipping the mic up or down turns it on and off instead of a separate dangling mute switch. Only downside was friends on the other end didn't think I was as clear compared to the other headset Maybe because the boom on this is shorter. Anyway, it's a reasonable price for a good entry PS4 headset that will work well for most people.

The ear cushions fell off in less than a week and will not stay on. The noise canceling characteristics are affected by the ear cushions not staying put.

I bought two of the same headsets and both of them have stopped working in like 2 month of buying it.
