Get the protection plan

If you have teenage kids, invest in the protection plan. Easy to replace when it goes bad after constant use. We had to replace ours after about a year when the sound quality went bad in one of the ear speakers. Very easy replacement process thanks to Best Buy. Recommend.

Great budget headphones for a young (or old) gamer

Only issue is they cancel noise pretty well, so my kid can't hear me tell him to take out the trash! Best advice I can ever give is to buy the Geek Squad warranty on these. It will save you a ton on money when you inevitably have to buy another pair of Turtle Beach headphones.
