I purchased these on an impulse buy when I saw how much I could save by picking these up refurbished. Once they arrived, everything looked perfect. Nice solid plastic case for packaging and all the hardware seemed durable and comfortable. Once I hooked everything up, I ran into two issues. First, trying to chat wireless on Xbox live. I followed the directions several times in attempt to sync the Bluetooth dongle with the controller and headset. I could never get them to connect and I promise you I tried for a long time and read the directions and forums. Second, when I powered on the headphones they would always have a buzzing and clicking sound for about 2-3 minutes. After that it would go away and the sound was excellent. I found out later that sound was due to the 2.4 ghz frequency that these run on. Several other electronics and most homes use this same frequency and the end result is interference. I ended up returning these and picking up the black ops 2 tango edition. I paid 299 but Bestbuy just dropped the price by $100, now they are 199. Thankfully, I was able to receive price match and get my hundred bucks back. At this point, for 30 dollars more I would definitely pick up the black ops 2 tangos brand new. They run on 5.8 ghz which means little to no interference problems.

I've owned a lot of Turtle Beach headsets. My cats chew my stuff up so I wanted completely wireless with no chat cable. Got these refurbished for $130 and its $ well spent. The sound quality is great, voice morph is cool. The presets are cool so you can choose what you want to emphasize... enemy footstep, explosions, etc. So many options and the buttons are quite simple once you get used to them. Only thing knocking this down is the range. I know my friend has a headset and he can walk around his house in his without any interference. These if I walk 5 feet away from the couch I get static choppy sound. The range is pretty bad if you get over 10 feet away from the receiver. But I soley use mine for sitting on the couch for multiplayer/campaign playing so its perfect for what i want and need. If you want these to listen to music while you make lunch, go to the bathroom, etc do not get these. If you are going to be sitting close to the TV 99% of the time these are perfect. I bought energizer rechargeable batteries and I can play about 8 hours of playtime per charge I love them just wish they had more range for the MSRP price. If i paid $300 for these I would've returned them.

I bought these after a buddy gave me an old pair of X31s he no longer used. I was so impressed, I wanted to try out a newer, better pair. I searched every Best Buy in my area, and even the surrounding area, for the Black Ops II Ear Force Tango headset, with no luck. The Deltas had many of the same features, but were in stock for $109. They hooked up easily, including the bluetooth device pairing. I playe several different types of games, and the sound quality was incredible. You hear things you don't realize are there with these headsets on. I could even mute the surround sound and turn up my headphones without disturbing my wife and kids - a big benefit. The problem with these is the 2.4Ghz frequency. In my house, they produced a lot of static, and dropped in and out regularly. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the price.

These headsets are great for the money. The headset is comfortable, well made, and sound great. The only thing is that they don't have a really long range on them. They are good as long as the receiver is in sight other wise they start to cut out until you get closer to the receiver. Overall great headset other than that.

My husband's been through so many different head sets and won't switch ever again after this one. Were both very pleased!
