First let me say that I was completely blown away with the audio quality from these headphones. The 3D immersive sound caught me off guard with how well it was implemented and executed on PS5 and these headphones. I daily bose 700's for PC gaming and while these are obviously much cheaper - they are now my go to for my PS5. You can use these headphones for almost every gaming system (pc included) outside of the Xbox. I have also seen reviews saying these are "on ear" vs "over the ear" headphones which I disagree with. I have rather large ears/head and my ears fit inside the headphone cuffs just fine and as always just go into BestBuy to try them on if you are concerned. Superhuman Hearing - This is an odd mode that I was only able to find useful in some games and didn't work in most others. When it did work - it worked AMAZING. So what Superhuman hearing is, is essentially a sound "zoom in" on footsteps and other player movements. I was able to actionably react on this the most using Fortnight but it really is a "your mileage may vary" kind of feature. Build Quality/Comfortability - The headphones are made using a nice feeling plastic and soft cloth headphone cuffs - not as comfortable as the Astro A50's cuffs but I was able to wear these headphones for hours on end gaming without a worry on battery, fatigue or comfort. Heat was also not a problem as my head stayed cool the entire time despite the cloth construction. I find them a little bit lighter and more comfortable than the PlayStation branded headphones for the PS5 and I was also able to wear my glasses with no issues with squishing or pressure points from the headphones. Sound - Now this is where I was really blown away, for $100 these headphones pack a punch on bass and sound immersion with the 3d sound. Completely blown away with how the modes also change the EQ balance through four premade modes - I would have like to see a way to alter the EQ somehow manually but there are enough modes where it isn't really a bother. The headphones get quite loud and get loud enough to drown out white noise considering these don't have any form of active or passive noise canceling and the cuffs don't really eliminate any exterior sound as well. I was able to game, listen to music and watch some youtube on these headphones and was completely satisfied the whole time in sound quality. It isn't quite Bose Bass level but I will say it is quite punchy without blurring out other sounds. Mic - The mic is small and not overbearing like some of the other headsets that have a giant stick attached to the headset AND this mic can easily be flipped back up to quick mute and tuck away if you aren't using it. The mic quality is good on PlayStation, however, on PC I would recommend a standalone mic for discord as it doesn't cut out a decent chunk of white noise on Discord that wasn't prevalent in PlayStation chat. Value - This is priced to steal buyers, at the $100-$150 price mark these headphones are really riding at the top. With a sleek mic, comfortable construction, long battery life and banging audio it is hard to not auto purchase these headphones. What I did not like - I really hated the way the buttons feel on your head, as in it is exceptionally hard to tell if you are pressing the power button, the mode button, the volume dial or the mic volume. This is really the largest pitfall as I have pressed the power changing the sound modes and lowered the volume on my game trying to lower the mic volume. While this isnt the biggest deal, I have found it executed better on other brands headphones. I would recommend going into BestBuy and trying them on to see what feels/fits best for you. To conclude, I was completely blown away by the sound out of these $100 headphones. Yes they aren't the most comfortable, made of metal or anything crazy - but they also aren't $200/300 and compete directly with PS5's own headphones while not being an abrasive and dirt showing white. I love how the mic flips up and down with the ability to change the volume on the game and mic chat individually and easily.
