I have the 700 as well and you can tell the difference in quality of the material & sound. I would use recommend this if you’re looking for something in a decent price range that works. But if you want better quality spend that extra money.

Really good wireless controller

It does seem to interfere with the controller connectivity. My controller is fine on the Xbox dashboard. I’ll be playing call of duty black ops and sometimes it will just stop reacting to the controller in game. I can still go back to the Xbox home and controller works for everything there. Go back to the game and no response. The way to fix this is to take out the headset receiver and plug back in. So it has to be messing with the signal for the controller in some sense.

Best bang for your buck

However, it was annoying to have to connect the USB to update the settings so I didn't get any talk-back. Would've given it 5 stars had the slide not broken the on the first one I bought less than a year in when placing it over my head.

I got these just to see if there would be a big difference. It’s only a small downgrade as far as feel and audio quality, and you can’t connect to your phone via BT which didn’t matter to me anyway. Good headset, good options, but not the best I’ve ever worn. I think you’ll get your moneys worth.

Decent headset

It squeezes my head a little more than I'd like, but I do have a big head. The voice monitoring is only available in PC mode; in Xbox mode it's using Xbox's software, which is not good. The flip-up mute is nice. Battery lasts a really long time, I go a few weeks before needing to charge it. The price is a little hard to justify; this is more of an $80 headset.
