I dont know where people are having a problem with these. I have had zero issues with them. Once i got them home i followed the instructions to the T for the update (which was super easy). Once i updated i went online and setup a private match against some bots on MWR. I heard everything exactly where it was supposed to come from. I also then engaged super human hearing, which is nice but not needed for that game. I also played some ghost recon wildlands ghost war pvp mode and that is where this headset really shined. The regular mode was great, bass boost was good, bass and treble boost was pretty good and super human hearing was excellent in that game. I think the overall sound is a little tinny, but really what headset isnt with most of them having 40 or 50 mm speakers. The sound isnt the best but the surround is where these shine. The new windows sonic surround with the wireless (yes these are completely wireless, they connect just like a controller with a button to pair with your xbox) is just spot on. I am happy with my purchase. I went with these because i saw what its big brother offered and from what i saw, i dont need bluetooth for my phone and that looked to be the only upgrade. As far as the ear cushions, i am very happy with the fabric instead of the faux leather that is very typical for headsets. I find my ears/head dont sweat at all with these as opposed to my old TB Stealth 420x. Th3se are worth the $100 and to be honest after seeing what you get with $150, these are worth $200. You wont be upset with the quality of the directional sound. Like i said the sound is just ok, but the directional audio is far better than the stereo headsets out there that i have used in the past.

Worst headphones you can buy they're put together with what seems like Elmer's glue and fall apart quicker than my toddler legos. Worst purchase I've made and a complete waste of $100.00. You'd be more entertained lighting a 100 dollar bill on fire and watching it burn then slowly watch these pieces of garbage slowly break on your every other couple of days.

This is a cheap plastic peace of junk. I have purchased two of these headsets only to have both of them break towards the neck of the unit while taking them off. Do not but these, just spend a little bit more and by the steel series headphones like I ended up buying and now love.

They just don’t work & I know how to use them as I bought these to replace an identical pair I bought at another store 2 years ago that still work but the side posts are broken. The new ones do not work at all. I bought more expensive ones here before & they don’t pick up my voice. I am done with Best Buy, who does not make it easy to return things.

Connection is great, problems with the microphone not ever working, you can hear yourself but no one else can hear you, on Xbox and pc. The audio constantly cuts out, so you can’t hear a thing, honestly waste of your money would get a refund but they won’t, and they won’t replace it because even though I got it a week and a half ago

The headset design is poor. Earpieces broke within 2 weeks with normal use by 1 54 year old adult gamer. Where adjustability sockets are is weak plastic. Headset was never dropped or abused in any way and first one side broke almost immediately after purchase. Taped it to try and continue to use then other side broke soon after. Cheap for such an expensive set.

I’ve gotten this headset 2 times and every time the quality to the price is a big difference. After 1 use each time the sound would go terrible and sometimes the buttons on the side of the headset for voice chat and game volume would be pushed in and wouldn’t be able to work. I recommend to not buy this headset.
