Great for ps5, but the connection to Xbox is terrible. Even after update l. Constant scratchy and in and out sound. Do not recommend for Xbox.

These are great, very strong clamping force and loud enough to hurt your ears. I ended up returning for less clamping force but good when on sale

There is plenty of static while using. People couldn't hear me and all I could hear was static.

Sound quality is absolutely trash....wirless distance from the xbox is only 30ft... Not a good buy for the price at all...

I cant even count the number of wireless headphones I've now owned over the years, but there are very few that really stand out. For some reason or another, each set falls short in one way or another, but excels in other ways. For good or ill, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX is another such contender. To start, the packaging is about what you'd expect, the headphones are inside a box, which is inside a sleave as most gaming peripherals are sold these days (especially those intended to be used with a gaming system, I suppose it stays with the aesthetics of every other peripheral sold for those systems). So it's not necessarily bad, but it also doesn't stand out either. Once extracted from the box the first thing I noticed was just how plush the earcup pads are. I mean wow. . I've had significantly more expensive headphones that I thought felt great at the time, but these surpassed those by miles. My head was in heaven simply by being nestled between these earcup pads, and we haven't even made it to the sound yet. My headset was the blue color, which I love, it's uncommon for headsets to be anything aside from black or an attempt at mirroring either playstation white or XBox green As for the mic, I appreciate that it's attached and can be folded out of the way without making you look like you have a weird alien antenna on your head. The headphones themselves are rechargeable via USB-C (cable included) and seem to function just fine when charging which is nice. I do wish at this price point that they had included a cradle, but I guess one cant have everything. There are a few different controls on the headset itself, from volume, to bluetooth, to power, there's even a remappable scroll wheel and a mode button that can change the mode or be remapped as well. Interesting for a headset, and potentially useful to streamers for various reasons. Connectivity is extremely straightforward. I've connected these to both my PC and my XBox, but we'll talk PC first. The USB dongle has a switch on it where you need to select between PC or XBox depending on your usage, and it's important that you do this, because the sound quality is affected by what each system thinks is connected to it, because it actually will connect and install on a PC with the XBox setting selected, but it sounds awful, flipping it over to PC cleared up that issue entirely. I really didn't feel the need to adjust much in the way of the settings, as out of the box the sound was full and vibrant, really quite good. Flipping that switch and connecting it to my XBox was equally as straightforward and sounded just as good, but again it's important to flip that switch. I've played games, played music, played movies, everything through this headset and I've been really impressed by them, but Turtle Beach is known for audio, so that really doesn't surprise me. The one thing I was not super happy with was the range. With the dongle plugged into the back of my PC (which sits on the floor) I received interference even just sitting at my desk about 2 feet from it. I moved the dongle to the top USB and that cleared it up, but honestly I dont feel like this should be a thing, I dont know what would cause it to be such a short range as I've never experienced anything like this on other headphones. All in all though, they are really a great experience, super comfortable and great sound, and of course the freedom of wireless, provided you dont sit too far away from the source. I easily recommend these to anyone

Turtle beach is known to make pretty great quality gaming headsets. That is why I was very eager to try out their new model, and get the quality we have come to know and expect. Out of the box they are very lightweight, and feel of great quality, and craftsmanship. To the touch the ear, and head cushions feel soft durable. Since I was using this with my Xbox series X, all I had to do was charge them up, plug the provided usb into the front port and it connected on its own The pros: -AMAZING sound quality. The bass, the clarity, the “superhuman” mode is just chefs kiss if you will. I play shorts mostly, and they were not lying when they advertise you can hear every footstep -Battery life. I have had it for 5 days so far, with a total of about maybe 30 hours or more of gaming time and the battery is still on high. -The customization options in the app. Being able to tweak the sound in the app, enhance the Superhuman mode, bass, and mode is always an added bonus. -Mic quality. Great mix quality. One of my gaming friends said it sounded like they were sitting in front of me actually hearing my voice-that’s how clear it is. -wireless- no cords is always a plus for me. Why the 3 stars? -Connectivity is the number one issue I have had. On every. single. startup. I have to try to connect the headset to Xbox twice. Every. Time. For. 5. Days. With the exception of the coverup first time it connected with no problem. That is extremely frustrating. As gamers you just want to turn on and go, not turn on go, and try to turn on and connect again, and agin maybe. -Random static, once again connectivity. I’m only a few feet away from my Xbox and the USB, there is absolutely no need for that. -This headset is definitely made for people with smaller sized heads, and forget big hair. It feels like someone is standing in front of me with their hands pushing up against the side of my both ears. -not glasses friendly, probably because of the tightness on me. Although they have a feature where you’re supposed to be able to give you some room for glasses, that was useless. I don’t want to stretch my glasses out to put it through the loops. Overall, it is a great headset for most, but not all.

When wearing a gaming headset for extended periods of time, comfort is always my number one concern. Second, I try to protect my hearing, so the ability to filter outside noise is important so that I can hear the audio of the game without outside interruptions. The third most important factor is the quality and clarity of the sound, including a surround sound effect. Finally, it’s important that other players can clearly hear me when I am communicating. Starting with comfort, this headset is a nice tight fit, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. The headset is snug and forms a very nice seal which allows for continued use without allowing in unwanted outside noises. The surround sound is very good as is the overall audio quality of the headset. I have an Xbox and a PS4, so the ability to use the same headset for both gaming platforms is also a great feature of this device. Furthermore, with the Bluetooth functionality, I can also use it for PC gaming and even work if desired. The battery life is outstanding and I plan to use this for multiple purposes. While I enjoy gaming, I am also a computer professional and this will suite my needs very well. The voice quality is very clear and it is easy to mute the microphone. There is no guessing with the microphone positions clearly showing whether or not it is muted. It also gives an audio alert as to when the microphone mode is changed. As will all Turtle Beach products, the quality is superb. The functionality is simple yet very effective. The Navy blue is very attractive and I expect it last for years.

For the price I paid not bad . I picked it up on Black Friday . But I would try Astro headsets to be 100% honest
