Turtle Beach – Stealth 700 is the headphone to have if you are a gamer, notably if you are into the actions games. However, some issues with the setting in the app. I and my son, we are gamers on different platforms and while I am more commensurate in my movements, my son is a headphones killer, all wires end by being broken or stop working. The wireless technology of the turtle made a big difference. You can see him playing around without the risk of a wire fixing him to the laptop. The Turtle beach delivers super quality sounds in the Xbox and PC that I tested. Seems solid and strongly built and the size of the earcups makes it very convenient for a comfortable experience. The size also helps with the sound delivered into my ears. A great battery that exceeds the three days of gaming (6 hrs per day). My special favorite is how the mic mutes and unmutes by folding it. Not sure that the pairing with the app is perfectly set up, I imagine that a new version will come soon because when I tried to adjust the setting sometimes the app can not find the device. This is the reason for losing one start in my review. Outside gaming, I also tried the phones in Bluetooth mode and the person in the call was not noticing that I was in the headphone. I will recommend it because I also believe that a firmware update is coming soon for the app.

There have been many headsets that has come and gone that supposedly supports the PS, Xbox, Switch and PC, but not supporting all wirelessly... The day has finally come with the Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX arrival. Gaming headsets are bulky, so size wasn't a surprise at all. HOWEVER, the two game changers are the headset ear gel cushion and switch dongle making it POSSIBLE for all console systems and PC to be used wirelessly. A clever switch on the USB switches to "Xbox" or "USB" mode enabling the headset to essentially be a one headset for all. The ear gel cushion is top notch and very comfortable for long usage. The Turtle Beach app is how you'll adjust the headset settings to your liking. SUPERHUMAN feature is A++++ The dual connectivity is a plus as well... being able to connect wirelessly with the dongle and Bluetooth with your PC/Phone and have both connected and useable is a great feature if you're into the Discord chat and gaming. I did run into a few minor glitches with static noise and drop connections, but it seems it may have fixed itself. Overall, solid built quality, comfortable with glasses and a solid one headset for all purpose. I don't think it really matters if it's a PS or Xbox model. I believe it's really all comes down to color themes. Good job Turtle Beach. You've made me switch. Thanks.

When I originally got this headset, it had bugs mostly with volume and BT. Those have since been fixed, and it works great. It has one of the best battery lifes in the market of wireless Xbox headsets at 40 hours, simultaneous BT, Superhuman hearing, 50 mm drivers, and lag free wireless. The only other problem is it’s a little tight, but should most likely break in. If not, stretch it out using books or boxes. Overall a very solid option

Battery life is much improved, but the connection i had with my orignal Gen 2’s are still prominent. Constast drops in audio. Microphone is incredible and the sound really is fantastic. I ended up stickkng with the Arctis Nova 7x’s, as they just have a rock solid connection and after a little EQ tweaking ive never heard a paif of gaming headphones thst are as good or anywhere near as accurate.

I was attracted to these because of their supposed compatibility with glasses and I give that specific feature a 4/5 stars. There is an elastic pull tab within the ear cushion cup that you pull and it retracts part of the cushion where your glasses normally go. It works pretty well, but depends on the thickness of your frames and how far those naturally sit away from your face. It also limits the wiggle room that the ear cushion can sit on your ear. Over time as the headset sags a little, it tends to pull your glasses down and you either have to adjust the headset or your glasses or both. Tightening the headset helps keep it in place a little better, but then that's a lot of pressure and less than ideal for long gaming sessions. The audio is good. I wasn't blown away by it. There is no noise canceling so if you're using these in a busy space or for your PC, you're going to hear all those mouse and keyboard clicks and your case fans. It has some good bass notes and the high frequencies don't get lost. There is a lag in the volume slider which is weird and when you power the headset on, it plays a loud tri-tone beep in your ears no matter how low the volume is. The boom mic... it's a boom mic. Lots of background noise when recording anything. Again, you and your teammates are going to hear every mouse click or thumbstick movement hitting the side of the controller. I don't generally recommend boom mics to anyone anymore. The difference between this and the most popular condenser mic is astounding. Overall, for this price you could do better on the market.

Unusable. Must have a computer to update them before you can use them. Will not connect to Bluetooth for any reason. Another mass produced pile of junk. Will be pitching these in the trash as I can’t make it to Best Buy in time for return.

3rd time i buy these on sale and bluetooth has not worked on any of them . If your looking for a headset with bluetooth , stay away because it will not work !

I opened the box and then usc b transmitter is missing. I returning this item back for sure.

Headset has very good audio and battery life in my general opinion I would recommend this headset for beginning gamers!!!

These headphones are great I love the way they feel and the sound quality is really good however every time I put on the headphones and turn my head they always make a creaking noise and not talking about static it’s something with the headphones other people can also hear when they are near , also they have have a sensitive mic, they also look very big on your head to but other than that these headphones are great with Bluetooth and playing Xbox at the same time you also can control the spound that’s on Bluetooth and on your Xbox separately with is nice so you can watch YouTube or whatever at the same time and not one be to loud.

I have really enjoyed this product, i was sceptical at first with the durabilty, because the plastic would creak, but theyve held up nicely. The battery life is fantastic. The sound is good but could use a little more bass. Overall the functionality is great.

I spent quite a bit of time listening to music with these headphones and I soon realized just how much they enhanced the experience. I was able to pick out nuances in favorite songs I never noticed before -- background instrument lines, the distinct timbre of sounds -- I could listen carefully to piano music and sometimes I could discern physical pianos from digital ones. I was blown away by the level of detail I could hear in the sound. However, these are gaming headphones, so I took them over to my PC and dove into my favorite games. Again -- the sound detail is awesome. And the directionality works great -- I can tell when things are sneaking up behind me and it really feels like being in the game world. The physical design is great -- the ear cups are generously-sized, so if you have big ears they are still comfortable. The adjustable, padded headband is comfortable and it's not a problem to wear these big heavy headphones for hours of gaming. I also really like the way the mic folds up and disappears into the design of the headset. It's completely out of the way when I'm snacking. The bluetooth connects flawlessly to my phone and my PC and I can make it all the way to the kitchen to refill my coffee without dropping from conference calls. They're spendy, but they are worth it.

This is an awesome headset. Quality materials and very comfortable. The headset connects to my console while simultaneously Bluetoothed to my phone so I can still get notifications and hear sound while gaming. Friends say voice is much clearer than other headsets I’ve had and sound is far better.

Perfect gift for anyone who games regularly! The quality and aesthetic of the headset is amazing and long lasting. Will have some give a big smile and give them the feeling of excitement for the rest of the time of usage.

Bought for my 52 yr old husband. He said they are far superior to his previous gaming headset. He can hear more game sounds, they are very comfortable, and it does cancel out the noise around him in the home.

Pros: Sounds is pretty good. Looks fantastic. I like the fold down mic. Cons: Complete lack of software for sound profiles. Very heavy on the head. Terrible wireless range. This last factor is what caused me to return the headphones.

This works really well and is easy to connect to PS5. I love that they made the usb connector that inserts into the usb on the game console bigger so it will not get misplaced so easily. The regular stealth 700 generation 2 had a very small usb connector and we just recently lost it for the 2nd time so I will have to re-order another one. The usb that comes with the max is a little bit larger, but not large enough to be an inconvenience when plugged in, but large enough not to get misplaced or lost so easily is just one perk of the max. It looks exactly like the regular stealth 700 gen 2, but with some changes like the usb. It is very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is clear and easy to hear. It is a well made headset that will last a long time based on how sturdy it feels. The microphone is nice because you can tuck it away when not in use into its little compartment area. The head piece is adjustable and that is always a bonus. It is compatible with multiple gaming consoles including a PC.

They're ok I guess idk if 3 stars is even justifiable. First off this hype about the "super human hearing" feature and in app audio enhancer is crap. Yes my firmware is up to date. There is really no major audio differences between any of their products. It's practically all the same. I got this because I assumed (which is always a mistake) it'll help with audio between game and party chat which doesn't at all. Party chat is always significantly louder even with adjust ing system settings. The audio hub app.......I'm just going to skip this. It is completely useless because there is no difference....At All! These headphones for some reason struggle to pair or don't pair at all. They're comfortable but after a while they have to go. The only reason I got these is because they're wireless. Which is the only plus side to me. Don't get me wrong the audio is decent but if a company is going to hype this "audio enhance feature" there should be noticeable changes not some very small tweaks to it. Most of there products sound the same. For 200 bucks these were pretty disappointing..to me at least. I think I'm going to return these and get me the A50s those were really something when I tried them.

So the sound and features on this headset are amazing. Now the only problem Ive had with these is with the cheap plastic and weak-points, right around the ear piece. This was my second set that broke in exactly the same way. And i dont have a big head. The second set, I take cery good care of them, and especially was even more careful with the second set for that very reason. I had also bought my teenage son a set and his broke the same way before any of mine did, amd i just assumed it was because he was rough with them. So i domt think this was just a freak accident or bad pair, consodering it happened three times!
