    Fatal Flaw - Cheap Plastic

    I gave this two stars instead of one because other than it's serious problem, it's a great headset. It's extremely comfortable and sounds great. BUT, the plastic around where the band connects to the ear cup is extremely cheap and thin. I took great care of this headset, and it only lasted 1.5 years, and for $180, that won't cut it. Piece of advice for whoever wants this headset, do not hang it. Lay it down, so there's less pressure on the very fragile plastic.

    I have always been a Turtle Beach fan for more than 20 years. I always used their sound cards on my PC builds. Their headsets keep great soung quality, but their construction is not my favorite. I have owned 6 pairs since the release of the PS3 and every set, the right ear breaks off. The plastic that supports the speaker is thin and brittle and breaks and you have one speaker hang by just 2 wires

    DONT BUY. They randomly stop working

    First off just let me say, DO NOT buy any of the turtle beach 700. I am currently on my fourth headset with this generation and all four times the headset just randomly stops working. I’ve tried giving them a chance but they always break after a few months. I’m super disappointed because they are really comfortable and have great noise cancelation but they just can’t seem to work for some reason. Will be retiring them again for the fourth time and will not buy them again.

    Still have this after 2 and a half years works very well. Holds up a charge for several days. Loved it ao much got my husband one as well.

    I really want to like this headset but it is so buggy at the moment. I took them back and got another pair and both had the same issue. #1: I couldnt pair them to my iPhone until I factory reset them using a computer. Then 3 days later bluetooth crapped out and I had to factory reset them again to get bluetooth back. #2: Everytime I turn them on they shut off after 20 seconds, 2nd time they power on they are good and connect to my Xbox properly. #3: If you touch the left earcup they cut out. Seriously interference from touching the earcup that you have to touch because that’s where all the controls are. This isn’t just on Xbox, I switched it over to PC (where I was also closer) and you can easily get them to cut out by touching the left ear cup. #4: The volume cap is inconsistent, sometimes they are nice and loud and other times max volume is about 1/2 (same game). If you turn them off and on a couple times it will fix the volume issue. Having returned the first pair I can’t be confident that 2 sets are bad. A 3rd pair will likely be the same. Hopefully Turtlebeach can fix most of these issues with a firmware update, but for now get something different!

      Good morning! Please ensure that your headset & its USB transmitter have been updated to the newest firmware available for it via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS. This new firmware should get your headset up and running properly, improving its overall volume levels, Bluetooth pairing process, & connectivity to its transmitter.

    My husband was looking for gaming headphones to use where he could mute himself when he was eating potato chips, so as not to annoy his friends, and these did the trick. He says the are extremely comfortable and very user friendly too.

    Bought this for my husband for Christmas & he loves it! He had an older Turtle Beach headset that wasn’t working too well anymore. Says he can hear clearly & the noise cancellation is great!

    Quick and simple,series x and these headphones just dont talk to eachother well. The app is pretty bad the volume is either super high or super low. The volume controls on the headset alone dont work at all no matter how you set them up. Had turtle beach support online for atleast an hour they couldnt figure out the issue so sadly im returning them shouldnt be this difficult to use a headset. I looked at these reviews before buying them and thought they'd work great,that was not the case.

    Bought this headset back on 12-15-2022 the transmitter gave out a couple of weeks ago.The actual headset still works and it went through some wear and tear. I was surprised the transmitter gave out first since I hardly touch it. FYI I did go through all the troubleshooting. Now I am debating if I should just get a newer headset or spend$43.48 to get a new transmitter.
