Nice but needs to connect twice in some cases but fell good sound good its good and better than previous stealth 600

bought these for the boyfriend a few years ago to replace his “not all the way broken” wired headset (it was very broken). he liked them a lot! lasted about three years. recently he moved the mic weird and it totally snapped off??? i also noticed the material on the part that goes around your ear??? (help sorry idk the terminology im just a supportive girlfriend) was flaking off which i had no idea about. im back buying a new headset (not this one) for him just thought id share!!!

Can start with the quality. The headset feels very solid, definitely doesn't feel cheap. I also own the stealth 600 and stealth 600 gen 2 and the stealth 700 gen 2 max feels way better as far as durability goes. You still get the same "crystal clear cons" mic that is basically saying that everyone in your chat is going to hear everything going on in your house. There are extra features like the use of the app to control your headset whether it is button assignment or fine tuning the volume levels or your superhuman hearing, mic monitoring, tones of the headset and whatnot. This feature would be fine if all you had to do was set it and leave it alone but this isn't the case. It doesn't save. Everytime I am turning on the headset, I have to go into the app and adjust my superhuman hearing level bc it doesn't save. That can be frustrating having to depend on the app bc your headset can't do the job alone. The Bluetooth feature is nice, when it works. It only wants to work for calls and not audio to my phone. I'm always having to go into my Bluetooth settings in my phone and turn this on just so I can watch a video or hear alert notifications. Then when I get the Bluetooth audio to phone turned on, the notification sounds don't work or the audio. It will just make a short beeping sound or play a split second of what you are trying to listen to and it cuts out. Very frustrating. Let's get into the comfort now. At first, these feel nice. The gel ear cup cushions do their job. You won't find yourself sweating. There is a problem though. The clamping force is too much for my big head. I also use gamer glasses and yes I use the feature designed in the ear cushions for people that wear glasses. This does not help. It might help with the pressure from the front but the glasses at the back of my ear gets glamped down and after about half an hour my ears and head are killing me. Now I wear a L/XL fitted hat so if you have a small head, there is nothing to worry about but maybe if you wear glasses though. I wish they would have used what they have used on a previous headset they sold which was a width adjustment in the headband. This would accommodate all types of gamers. Would be perfect comfort headset if they had this feature. Now the Sound. These do sound amazing. I am a Superhuman Hearing user though. With the stealth 600 gen 1 and 2, the sound isn't even close. I've been playing modern warfare 2 and when I go into a custom lobby to see if I can hear a difference in footstep, I sure can. The stealth 700 gen 2 max makes me able to clearly hear footsteps way louder than both stealth 600s. Since you can adjust your superhuman hearing level, it makes you able to have superhuman hearing with or without bass basically. I always turn the slider all the way up. I don't need to hear bass, I need to hear footsteps and reloading guns. For this alone, these headsets are worth it. So if your are seeking a competitive edge on sounds, these are it. Just remember, you have to adjust your superhuman hearing slider every single time you power them on. Every single time. Ease of use. Right out of the box you are going to have to download the software on a computer and upgrade the headset. I think this is pretty common with just about all headsets now but still be warned if you don't have a computer. It will be needed. It sucks that the app is needed bc some things just don't save. The volume levels save but just not the superhuman hearing level. Also, the Bluetooth works half the time and you always have to go into Bluetooth settings in your phone and turn the audio slider on bc it doesn't save. A lot of these problems don't bother me too much bc I know how to get the settings I need. This still is a premium headset though and this stuff shouldn't be happening. It isn't turtle beaches first rodeo. They should have this down by now. Final thoughts. This is still a great headset. If you are looking for that sound that gives you the competitive edge on fps shooters, look no further. These, with superhuman hearing, are far ahead of the curve as far as hearing footsteps and gun reloads and those subtle audio cues needed when playing at a higher level. If you have a big head and/or wear glasses, be warned. These have a severe clamping force. You won't be able to wear these for those longer gaming sessions. As far as the app features not saving superhuman hearing levels or the Bluetooth cutting out and not saving in phone, I'm sure this is something that an update can fix but still annoying but not so much a deal breaker though. I think this headset is amazing but fell short in some areas as far as comfort and ease of use but otherwise would be a perfect headset, at least for console. I play on Xbox series x too btw. Hope this helped

Really a shame these didnt work out for me. I am not a big gaming headset guy, so when i saw these on sale figured to try them out. First off the sound... wow. The sound quality and detail is unbelievable. I could hear every little detail while playing last of us online. The mic quality is extremely good too, keeping your voice extremely clear. And dont even get me started for when you play a ps5 game with 3D audio. It is so good. But... i couldnt keep these because the headset itself. They are just too tight, causing quite alot of discomfort while wearing them. Even loosening them up didnt help much, and this was after only testing them for about several hours. I just couldnt get comfortable, having to adjust them every 15 minutes. Had to return them and going to try the hyperx cloud II.

Sound quality is top tier, I love this headset. The superhuman hearing enhances every sound and makes the gaming experience 1 thousand times better.

Got my headphones and they worked great for about a day before the volume wheel quit working. I exchanged them for a new pair and they have worked decently.

This headset is super easy to connect. The audio is clear and the bass is good for those games with explosions.

Excellent sound quality and immersion, I can hear everything in the game. I purchased these so i could use them on my PS4 and PC without having 2 different headsets to clutter up my desk.

Was easily able to work with xbox seriesx with the USB port. It also has better sound quality then other turtle beaches.
