    My wife purchased this for me as a replacement for my Sennheiser Game One headset that I had for a long time and was very pleased with, but recently broke to wear and tear. I was slightly skeptical at first, but the stylish look and nifty design of the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max really won me over after opening it and reading the instruction pamphlet it comes with. Then since I wear glasses, I was very impressed upon discovering the really cool glasses relief system built into the ear pads. It wasn't until I actually went into a party with my friend and starting talking to them, that I noticed the ridiculous and major issue these headsets have... The mic is just WAY TOO SENSITIVE, it picks up every little sound from other rooms with the freaking doors closed! Although that is impressive, it is frustrating to hear my friends tell me that they can hear the laundry machine working from the other side of the house, making me constantly mute and unmute just to talk, trying to keep the background sounds from myself at a minimum as to not annoy my friends. Upon a quick google search, I discovered several Reddit pages addressing the same issue, and several comments on those posts that say to simply "download the new firmware". Upon following the instructions (at first having no luck because nowhere does it say to switch the Transmitter from 'Xbox -> USB' in order to get it to connect to the computer for the update) and eventually I found that this didn't help my case at all, the mic was still WAY TOO SENSITIVE. So I did more research, and I downloaded the Turtle Beach Audio Mobile Hub, and then turned on the Noise Gate, which seemed to do nothing at all... It seems there may be a solution for a Playstation user, as some Reddit responses stated that they fixed this by adjusting settings on their PS console. This is not an option for an Xbox user, the setting page for the Headphones only shows battery life and has zero options to adjust. Unfortunately, although I was beginning to really look at these headphones fondly, I will be forced to return them today and explore other options which is extremely disappointing. So... Dear Turtle Beach Employees, please note that this is just TOO GOOD of a microphone. It is simply TOO SENSITIVE and because your product is too amazing picks up every little sound from here to Alaska, I am giving this amazing product a 1 star. I really wish I could get onboard with Turtle Beach and keep this headset, but I cannot force my friends to be subjected to listening to my kids play in their room next to me (my kids are loud).

    Works great, but none see to last forever. Get the extended warranty if your kids use them as much as mine do. It will be worth it I'm sure.

    Worst headset I’ve ever owned

    When it works, it works well. However, you have to fully unplug your console roughly 80% of the time to get it to connect properly. Most of the time, the headset will work but the mic refuses to register as existing, so its easily the most infuriating piece of trash you can possibly own. Would give it negative stars if I could.

    If you have an Xbox, avoid this thing like the plague! I've had one for a couple years now and there are CONSTANT issues with pairing. I'd estimate that 4/5 times when I use it, I end up needing to perform a hard reset on my Xbox and even then I often need to do it twice. It's to the point where I've had to just call my friends on speakerphone when playing on Xbox Live. The only reason I haven't replaced it yet is because I'm cheap and, to give credit where due, the sound quality is great (at least when it works). I just had to waste about half an hour because it just wouldn't work even after performing multiple hard resets on the Xbox, a factory reset on the headset, and multiple firmware updates. It only worked after I performed a second hard reset and then re-installed the firmware. I would say I'm optimistic things will improve after this next firmware update but I'd bet $100 this garbage headset will have issues within 5 uses.

    Love these. sounds great just need to be a little bigger. Tight on your ears i guess i have a big head have broken two pair they start to crack where they attach.

Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers.     Do Not Buy Without Service Plan

    I will never buy a Turtle Beach product again. Headset broke right above the earpiece on the left ear (mic side). I did not drop them nor was careless with them. I set them down on my desk to go to the bathroom, put them back on and they were cracked. Only had them 8 months. My mistake for not buying the $30 service plan. I figured if I was paying premium money for a headset, the product wouldn't just snap. Manufacturer's Warranty doesn't cover "accidents or wear and tear." Check out ebay, there are tons of them for sale for parts; broken in the exact same place. I'm gutted. Other than that, sound quality was good. Mic sometimes would not unmute when you bring the stick down. A little heavy to wear for long sesh's.

    This is the worst headset you could ever buy… I waisted $200 on something that doesn’t even wanna connect, I spent 30 minutes trying to connect the headset and it would turn on and everything but wouldn’t connect to have sound… I purposely smashed the headset so I didn’t ever have to deal with a poor quality headset ever again my $100 headset sounds better and connects with no problem. AGAIN NEVER EVER BUY THIS HEADSET

    Was a great headset til it stopped connecting to the base anymore. You can do hard reset and it will for a little while, but eventually doesn’t connect again. Even with all the updates, still won’t connect to the base. $250 down the drain.

    The headphones has pretty cool featrues like Bluetooth to your phone and super human hearing app that you could download. Othet than that, these headphones are pretty bad. They constantly disconnect from my Xbox and have to keep shutting them off or reset them in order for them to work. If i could go back i would buy wired ones instead lf these.
