Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st pair broke after just under a year of ownership (plastic split right above ear muff pivot). 2nd pair the wireless transmitter cuts in and out making me lose audio, conveniently 3 weeks after the return period ended. Only reason for not getting 1 star is the audio quality (when working) sounds great, and I like the microphone tilt up to mute feature. Steer clear of these and get something higher end that will last.

Great speakers and plastic cover. Good mic. Bad app and bad chat wheel quality. Bad connection distance with headset. I walk 20 feet away and it breaks up.. my RIG could go 80 before having issues. App seriously sucks. Strong 3 star product. Wouldn’t recommend.

I also own the same model for the Xbox only. I prefer the Xbox only model because you dont have a USB receiver to connect and you can control the chat volume and game volume from the headset. Unfortunately with the multi-plaform model you cannot control the chat volume from the headset. Fantastic headset otherwise.

The mic will pick up any noise within your house especially if you have a fan runinng near you, but the head set has a "noise gate" that will filter that noise out, so thats a plus.

Turtle Beach Gen 2 700 max

People complain about the Bluetooth but I haven't had any issues. You just have to hold the Bluetooth button for about 6 seconds to pair but you also get a audio notification

I've done firmware upgrades for both dongle and headset, I do not recommend these, wish I would have upgraded to the Steel series or the hard to find Xbox wireless. Owned for 1.5 years, upgraded firmware many times.

Earcups feel great on the ears, soft and cool memory foam. Microphone easily slides out and back into place
