It has a decent battery life and charges relatively quickly, the sound quality is kinda mid but the ability to use bluetooth on my phone and connect to my xbox at the same time was a great feature. Unfortunately, after roughly 3 months of use this headset, for no rhyme or reason, decides to identify as a 150 dollar paperweight and begins transitioning immediately due to a (VERY) well known bug in Turtle Beaches software that causes the headpones to become completely unresponsive. Now while i am fully supportive of my headsets decision to achieve its dreams, I need a headset and not a hunk of plastic that is nice to look at and imagine myself listening to music. So it was with a heavy heart that I returned my first headest. And recently returned my newer one for the same reason too. None of the fixes for this issue on the internet worked so I've decided to move on from Turtle Beach and companies that make "gAmEr" products in general. And you should too.

Only difference is that the max comes with a usb receiver. Yet the range is still weak that I lose connection whenever I enter another part of my house.

Audio is great. It will get a little tight on the head after 30-45 after having it on.

They also sound worse than my 7 year old Stealth 420X. Very comfortable though. Great battery life. Occasional popping / interference that is not present on my 420X.
