Awesome Headphones

I like that they use a USB stick instead of Xbox wireless because the previous 700 gen 2’s would drop all the time and have to be restarted several times during racing friends. The range on these is much better since I can put the usb stick on an extension cord and put it out in the open. Love the blue color.

Headset is great and the app works fairly well. My issue was that every so often or when the game audio got intense (lots of god of war fights) audio would start clipping, cutting out or having a bad static for a few moments and then be fine. This happened on both Xbox series x and ps5. I heard the issue is your WiFi proximity to the 2.4 ghz usb dongle for the headset and moving your router away will help. I moved my router about 5 feet further away than it already was (could not go further unless I get another cable for router) and it did not work, audio issues still there. Turtle beach is silent on this issue and if you contact them you get the basic “did you turn it off and on?” Another annoying thing is when headset mic is muted, the usb dongle keeps flashing red indicating your mic is muted. That is very distracting and the only way to mute the mic is to lift it up and into the headset. I do not need to see a flashing red light on my console to know it’s muted. Headset is a easy 4/5 if that audio clipping could be resolved but since it’s there I cannot recommend this headset if your gaming setup is anywhere near your router. Right now Arctis 7X are on sale for $90 on their own website. I will try those and hope their usb dongle is of better make.

What you described here sounds like RF interference due to a congested WiFi network. Our team would be happy to continue to assist you with troubleshooting your wifi network further & adjusting the frequencies of your wifi router to see if that has any affect on what you've experienced. They can also look in to whether any other devices within your set up are the cause of what you're experiencing, or look in to assisting with further warranty service if necessary.

I disconnects evwn with the doggle even at 22ft from the xbox. The weight of the headset is robust. The ear muffs are nice but but get annoyong (hot). I had a set of the gen 1 and those were great, but they missed the bar on these.

Opened it turned it on and IT TURNS ON GREEN! Has the right usb and didnt come with missing or wrong items. Works wonderfuly and connects pretty fast.

The mesh on the inside of earpiece starts tearing after about 10 or so uses and the metal is constantly rubbing on my earlobes. It also makes a really loud buzzing sound out of nowhere every few uses and doesn't go away unless you turn the headset off. It's not the most expensive headset in the world, but I wouldn't say it's worth the price tag

Disconnects with PlayStation 5 with times
