I received some Best Buy gift cards for my birthday, so I opted to try out the Stealth 700 Gen 2 headphones for the Xbox. I like my current first-gen Stealth 700, but after a night of fumbling with these headphones, the Gen 2 are a mess. Some issues I had: Mic Sensitivity: When in a party with my friends, my friends kept complaining about hearing everything in my house, my mic cutting out, or my mic producing static. I tried restarting the headset, restarting the console, and playing around with both the Mic Monitoring and Mic Gate settings. The issue still continued. Based upon threads on the Turtle Beach subreddit, this seems like a common issue since the headset officially released five weeks ago. Not only is this an issue on the Stealth 700 Gen 2, it seems to plague the Stealth 600 Gen 2 as well. Settings: The Turtle Beach Audio Hub on macOS (10.15.7) is trash and despite being updated a week ago per the patch notes, it does not support the Stealth 700 Gen 2 as there's no way to update firmware, reset the headset, or play around with the settings. The only way for me to adjust the settings was from my iPhone. That being said, the Audio Hub on iOS 14.1 is a rough piece of software. Don't get me wrong - the build of the headset is definitely better than the original Stealth 700s, it feels comfortable around my head, and it sounds good - but the mic issues are definitely a deal breaker. Users on Reddit have mentioned they haven't had any mic issues, so I'm on the fence on performing an exchange or just cutting my losses and returning the headset completely. For the fact that’s where I’m currently at with the headset, I can only award it one star.

Excellent product had gotten a pair of the Steelseries Arctis 7 and i would recommend the turtle beaches over any other headset.

I had turtle beach headphones year ago. A couple of years ago I bought some Astro A20’s but I’m back with turtle beaches and these are amazing.

The material is starting to come off the foam over the ear. But the product is very good.
