Didnt work for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as they guys in my clan have them. I returned them after a couple of days due to the mic monitoring working only at very night volume levels and they were too tight. I have a older wired set from Turtlebeach which work and sounded better. I was disappointed as i really wanted these to work.

Not worth the money, very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had many gaming headsets over the years, turtle beach used to be some of the better ones to use for the price. As some of these reviews note, the quality of turtle beach has declined significantly over the last several years. To where they are now letting their competition lead with better quality and more reliability. Sadly this isn't the turtle beach of old, it's the new turtle beach, where, like many of the games that are released today, they are released too early without enough testing or durability. They engineer the headphones, write the beta code to interface with the product (at the bear minimum just to get it running), then release it, hoping that they sell enough to warrant updates to help with stability. Check out their website, though they are compatible with the series X/S they are still having a multitude of issues, all of which I've experienced first hand with NO way to fix it and with tech support finally giving up and staying, just wait for the update. I'm not doing that. Instead I went and spent the extra money for the more reliable and better supported Steal Series Arctis 9. Pros: +Fit is fantastic +The app has a great wide range of use, from getting the sound just to your liking, or adds an extra "super heading" mode. +Set up is easy + Can update through the app +Can connect to console and phone at the same time +Microphone does a great job of eliminating other houses around. Meh: =No way to update through the console =Most the time it'll connect to your phone first then forget it's real purpose same not connect to the console. (Then you have to do a multitude of things just to get it to connect to the console, including (but not always at the same time) turning off your phones bluetooth, restarting the console, restarting the headset, restarting your phone, realising it just doesn't want to work today and turning off multiple other devices around the system including unplugging mesh wifi, hdd from the usb, 5Ghz wireless network in your house or even rewiring your house to set up lan in every room). Cons: - terrible support, serious last in response time and to this day I'm still waiting for another reply (I've already returned the headsets) - troubleshooting steps include: "Turning off your 5Ghz wifi" cause I totally want to go back to 2010Wifi standards for the rest of my house. "Turn off any mesh networks" again 2021, just because I'm not using the wifi, doesn't mean someone else in the house isn't using it. I have a nice AX wireless router with a network I set up myself that extend to 2 other (LAN write connected) boxes to send signals to the other side of the house. "Wire xbox directly through LAN" all my Xboxes are LAN connected, this doesn't help. "Turn off other Xboxes, shut them down, not power saver mode" guess I won't play multiplayer with other members in the household. " Turn off other controllers or headsets within the household" again, not multiplayer friendly. "Restart your xbox" this fixed it 30% of the time, but it's a hard shut down and wait for the start up. "Unplug USB devices, all of them." Will I guess there goes my actual gaming, as 1TB doesn't hold many games any more and I don't want to constantly transfer back and forth games from external devices to internal devices just to use a headset. "Remove or unplug any wireless devices such as; Amazon Echo, Google Home, Apple Airplay/home devices, bluetooth devices (including keyboards or headsets or mice), smartphones connected via WiFi or bluetooth, wireless home control devices." This was my favorite was I have a few smart lights and speakers around my home, not to mention tablets, computers with bluetooth connectivity, and a couple Echo assistants. I'm surprised they didn't ask about whether or not my wiring within my house is up to code or if anyone has an electric keytar within an mile radius because these also seem like reasonable requests if I'm shutting everything else off in the house. -The adjustment Steal is great, busy slowly started to loosen, again I only had these for 30 days, but it was more than enough to start to feel the tension going out of the straps. I did have a few of these for the family, all of them are now returned. -disconnects at the worst possible time. Plan on playing a competitive game where footsteps need to be heard from any direction, be prepared for the headset to randomly disconnect, sometimes reconnect and others not reconnect till the console or headset are restarted. FUN! -audio popping, this headset is only compatible with windows sonic setting in the settings, no DTX or Atmos, but even with the Sonic setting it'll pop and crackle, sometimes the sound starts to go tinny, like you stick two empty aluminum cans and placed the headset over them. Bottom line: If you don't mind your $150 headsets randomly disconnecting in the middle of a game, pops and crackles more than a bowl of Rock-Pops coated Rice krispies, and will cause you more frustration than actual enjoyment, them this is the headset for you. For anyone else, there are cheaper headsets with better quality and if you are looking for a higher quality headset go with the Arctis 9X.

Constant Disconnecting
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have have the new Xbox series so I wanted a new headset to go with it, unfortunately these weren’t good. The first pair I got came with broke Bluetooth, the headset didn’t connect at all, which is really bad when you need the companion app to fully maximum the headset. The second headset constantly disconnects from my Xbox, making it so I can’t hear the game or the party chat anymore. I get disconnected at least 4 times an hour... I attempted to contact Turlte Beach support page, they’re only have email for their contact, and they’re email support says 3-5 days for contact back... so product stinks and no support. I’m going to Astro 40 now
