Had not used Turtle Beach headsets in about 5 years. Had major issues with build and sound quality. I decided to give these a go and was pleasantly surprised. Really comfortable, even while wearing glasses. Great sound quality: not too bass heavy and picks up dialog really well in games and videos. Probably my personal favorite feature is that you can connect to multiple devices with this headset. I have both of the included USB transmitters connected to my Xbox Series X and PS5 and have had no pair issues. The one thing that has caused some concern is that, on 2 separate occasions, the sound completely cut out from the left ear. Turning it off an back on again fixed it, but it was just weird that it happened with no outside influence. Overall, a great headset at this price point. Makes it even better when it was $149.99 for black Friday.

Overall I am very happy with the stealth 700. It has everything that i'm looking for minus a docking station/stand that can charge it. But overall the sound quality is good, the mic is good. I love the flexibility of being able to switch between xbox and PC with the push of a button. The blue tooth for my phone is great. I can take calls while gaming. The noise canceling properties are great! I can rarely hear my GF talking to me while im gaming. They could be a little lighter. But I think for the build quality and metal components they will last longer than previous iterations with all plastic construction.

I can't say one bad thing about these, and i own a few pairs of turtle beach headsets. This one is definitely by far the best fit sound clarity and most importantly the comfortably

I’ve been gaming for 20+ years and I’ve never used a gaming headset. I’ve always used cheap wired headphones connected to a controller just to use chat features. My buddy decided to start gaming and he wanted a headset, so I went with him to look around. He found these and his face said it all.. This headset is noise canceling, super comfortable, compatible with multiple devices, and super easy to use. Being able to hear other players walking around and tune out outside noise has significantly improved my gaming experience; it almost feels like you’re in the game. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new headset. Worth every penny.

Durable headset kids use it for gaming and battery last for a long time. Seems pretty comfortable. The kids haven’t complained..

Very great headset! I used to have the generation 2 of this headset, but the build wore down after 1.5 years and it randomly snapped one day. I was very good to the thing and had just replaced earcups, come to find out it was a common problem. This headset has metal in the build that will keep it from snapping where I had issues before. It also has better connection, and less quirks to getting it working compared to the last gen. The only issue I had was that the first one I purchased was defective. The buttons for Bluetooth and media/ changing sources were combined. Now that I have a non-defective one, I’ve been only having minor issues if any at all. Why I took a star off is because of the minor issues and the first headset being defective. Minor issues: Sometimes my mic doesn’t work on Xbox and I have to reboot it more than once, but I found that if a reboot doesn’t work just switch from to game chat and back. And very rarely do I run into another weird issue. Like today my Bluetooth wouldn’t play any audio over the headset but I just turned it off and on and it worked again. The gen 2 had wayy more bugs and problems connecting to Bluetooth and my Xbox. Overall it’s a fairly stable hardware and firmware! Though I took a star off, I would 100% recommend this headset! It’s very comfortable, has many features, and works wonderfully!

I love these headsets, for the battery life, the double transmitters, and the accessible phone app. However, because WMe and my wife both own a set, the transmiters are not working properly. I use mine and even though I am 5 feet away from my computer, the headsets will cut out. I'll update this review when I find the progress.

One of the best mics I ever had! Battery life is definitely 10/10! It’s comfortable. the only thing is adjusting volumes

They’re great. I got these for my husband for Christmas but I sometimes play call of duty on his Xbox and I can hear foot step, even the ones above me in building. Im still trying to differentiate the sound between enemy and friendly though. They have noise cancelling too and it definitely works. The only problem I have is the dials for sound is on the back so sometimes when I put them on or move my head it turns them so I have to readjust the sound to hear the party chat or the game will be way louder and I can’t hear people talking

It's not as heavy as the comments suggested, mic sounds pretty good finally on a headset and it wont make my ears sweat when used for a few hours.

Upgraded from the 700 Gen 2 and I’m very pleased with the extra bass, sound quality, and overall feel. I MUST STRESS that if you buy this headset, update the firmware immediately. They have fixed a lot of complaints that initial buyers had and now I have basically nothing to complain about! Only thing I find odd coming from an older headset is how they removed the individual game sound and party chat dials. They’re awkwardly meshed into one dial, so you choose your OVERALL headset volume with one dial, then use the other dial to bias more towards game or more towards party.

Great Headset! hands down the best ive had comfort sound customization (thru the app), just awesome. These are so awesome i bought my son a pair for his Birthday, however they do not work with an identical set in the same room or house also being used. This to me really stinks especially the fact the turtle beach is aware of the issue and has basically no fix for the issue. I am kind of amazed that they have no fix as the old X42s we had 3 sets in a house and never once had an issue. I have updated both head sets performed factory reset the way turtle beach wants it done and now the original set doesn't work at all. I did click that I would recommend but only if you don't already have a set in the house or in apt your neighbor doesn't happen to have a set. Unfortunately will be returning for something else.

These are very good headphones if you’re really into shooting games. You can hear every step whether it’s left right up or down or just to the side. Sometimes you can even hear that your character breathing a little too realistic. But overall, if you’re into any type of detailed game or competitive gaming, these are the right ones for you, especially with a driver that it has inside the speakers.

These got killer sounds every time I play any game online or offline

After my old headphones cracked randomly, I had to scramble to get new ones. Initially I got the Pro model thinking it was worth the upgrade. Turns out they weren't, with a supposed 24 hour battery life, these didn't last two full workdays working a call center job. Also they were super bulky and the receiver was ridiculous. I see why it came with an interchangeable battery. So I returned those and got these headphones and let me tell you, night and day difference. The headphones pair to my computer and the Bluetooth pairs to my phone practically one second after turning them on. Now it did start a bit rocky when I got a new phone as there were connectivity issues with the app and Bluetooth, but that has since been patched. What's really cool is the volume slider links with the computer volume and moving the slider changes the computer volume, something the pro headphones couldn't do. Also the battery life is legit. Working five days a week on a single charge, I still had 50% battery left. They're also much more comfortable than the pro headphones. Finally, the most important part, the sound quality is very good and is satisfactory for any situation. So in conclusion, don't waste your money on the Pro model and get these, you will not regret it.
