After spending a good deal of gaming time with the headset I can now say that I fully recommend the Stealth 700. The headset is comfortable for the most part, the ear pads are comfortable and well insulated and offer a noise canceling effect. the drawback to this is the lack of breathability for your ears. at the end of a game, I find myself taking them off to give my ears fresh air. The sound quality is top notch, the blutooth connectivity is good, the battery life is ok, the recharge time is very good, and its ease of use is great. It has all the bells and whistles and the build quality to back it, the price point I wish was a little lower. When you bring them home IT IS PARAMOUNT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE AND FOLLOW THE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS : @@@@@@@

The sound quality is amazing! The ear cups are too small and pinch my ears. The padding on the head piece is too thin and uncomfortable.

I wanted to upgrade my old headset because the microphone was too sensitive, so I got this one. The battery life is good, the bluetooth connectivity is cool. My only issue is that the faux leather makes my ears sweat a little too much and the mic isn't adjustable.

Theyre great headphones, you need to download the app and update them on their website to get better sound. The mic mutes when you fold it backwards which is nice. Also you can enable pass through noise which I like. Cons -Hurts the top of my head after about 30 min -black stuff comes off onto my ears every time I use them -could be louder -some people complain my mic sounds very bad

I bought these for both of my kids. My older son has had them for more than a year now & never has had a problem. Comfortable. Only thing not that good is when whorn for a long time your ears get hot.

To begin, these headsets feel very cheap for what you pay for it. Feels very fragile, and gets very uncomfortable after an hour use. Sounds quite to me and doesn't get as loud as I would like it. Going back to the Ear Force PX24 sure ill lose the wireless but sounds better, feels better and more bang for your buck.

note that this is only after a few hours. 2 things that are wrong for me, first is the there is the noise coming from the left earphone the 2nd thing is that the headset will not stay connected to my xbox nor to anything else do to (what the trouble shooting page for turtle beach states) is my router/wifi. if I am to shut my laptop the headset works better but for them to work perfectly I have to shut off my router. so all in all this is a bust.

This is my 3rd set of Turtle Beach headsets, and I have to say it's by far they best one yet. I love the blue tooth feature. The only con is I wear glasses, and even with the soft foam at the top of the ear pad specifically for people with glasses is still a little uncomfortable over extended use . I think with time they will break in and fit better. That's why no 5 star.

I've been buying Turtle Beach gaming headsets for eight years. This was my fifth set. Every 18 months or so, they break in the same exact spot. The cheap plastic breaks above the left ear, leaving the headset unusable. Caveat emptor! Always purchase the extended warranty with your headsets and gaming controllers. They are cheaply made and break far too easy!

This headset has great features. The XBox wireless is smooth, phone app let's you control headset settings. Being able to use Xbox party chat and game sound through the headset WHILE stream music or talking on my phone is awesome. Flip up mic mute is great too. BUT.....like I find with many Turtle Beach headsets in the past. The design and durability are a question. Not all TB headset are like that. The Stealth 600 feels more robust, my PX30 is solid after all these years. But this set.......the part where the ear cups meet the band, where they spin, feels very flimsy, unlike the solid feel of the 600. Battery life is about 8hrs I have found....kinda meh. All in all great features, suspect durability. Not recommended at this price point

I did a lot of research and comparing & contrasting before selecting this headset for my Xbox One. I am very happy with my selection. This unit connects immediately with the Xbox One after turning it on. With the bluetooth feature, it also connects automatically with my iPhone and MacBook Pro and will stream any audio from both. This is a great feature, because with the noise cancelling of the headset, I cannot even hear my phone ring when it is sitting next to me...so the bluetooth allows me to monitor for incoming calls while I am playing my Xbox. So when a call comes in, it will ring in my headset and I can answer the call directly from the headset. When I do this, it switches the audio from the gameplay over to the phone call seamlessly. When I hang up (either from the headset or the phone), the audio instantly goes back to the gameplay and game chat. The audio quality is great and easily adjustable between gameplay audio and game chat audio levels. I use it frequently over bluetooth for music while I am working and seemlessly take hands-free business calls with it. It holds its own for music quality compared to my Bose QuietComfort 15 headset. I love that you can mute your mic by just swinging the mic up and back. The mic is solid and not flimsy. The mic does a really good job of filtering out most of the background noise in the room. We have noticed that when there is a lot of ambient noise in the room, the volume of my voice in the chat is noticeably quieter for everyone else...but better than flooding the chat with distracting noises. The battery on my unit lasts hours longer than the rated 10 hours, even with my bluetooth and mic on. The smartphone app that connects to the headset is great. You can change settings on the fly from your phone. Three downsides to this unit.... First, it feels a bit tight on the noggin', especially compared to my Bose QuietComfort headset that I was using before this one. I don't have a big head, so it doesn't bother me much, even during marathon 10+ hour gaming sessions. My son had purchased this same model 3 - 4 months before me and his head is a bit larger than mine, so he complains that using it for long periods can give him a bit of a headache if he doesn't take it off for a break here and there because of how tight it is squeezing his melon. Mine is easing up already after about a month of usage, so as long as you don't have a really large head, this shouldn't be an issue for most people. Secondly, the unit has three rubberized buttons on the side (power, bluetooth, and noise cancelling). When the unit is on your head, I am still having a hard time knowing which button I am pressing without taking the unit off my head. Each button has a raised symbol on it, but they are hard to feel a difference between, so the best method I have come up with is starting at the back button and sliding my finger forward feeling for the raised symbols. Far back is power, middle is bluetooth (and answering / hangin up on phone calls and other controls), and front most is the noise cancelling. The good thing is that most of the features are controllable in the smartphone app anyways. Thirdly, my son's unit is already showing wear on the ear pad material after just 3 - 4 months. He also burns through Bose ear pads way faster than I do...so if you are a bit more oily than most, the oil from your head/hair does seem to break down the ear pad material fairly quick. These pads are replaceable from the Turtle website for just $3.95 per ear cushion (look up Bose original replacement pads and you will see this is an amazing deal, even if you go through a pair or two a year). As I was writing this, I just discovered a new, cool feature on this unit that I don' remember read about in the manual. When you turn on the headset, it automatically turns on your Xbox for you (same as a controller does). The build quality of this model is great, definitely not a flimsy unit....if you take care of it and don't throw it around, it should last for a long time. With the Geek Squad 3 year coverage, which is quite affordable for this unit, you should be set for a really long time. I wonder if they would cover the ear pads wearing out? I would definitely go with this unit, even over the Elite 800X model which I also looked at. The 800 uses the same 50mm Neodymium Magnets with the same frequency range as the 700, but doesn't have the native Xbox direct connection like the 700 does. Hope this Help!
