Turtle Beach says this defect would self-correct with a few weeks use. On the contrary, it has gotten worse, to the point at which the yoke is unusable. This is a catch 22 situation: If you wait for the yoke to "self-correct" the return period will have expired, and you are stuck with an not unattractive plastic paperweight. In addition, Turtle Beach has as yet to issue a firmware update to fix the issue of the SIF panel lights do not indicate what function is active. Turtle Beach could not or would not provide a projected date for the update. My advice: There are better alternative devices for flight control.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first time setting this product up, I had no issues figuring out how to put it together and to connect it with my computer. After finding some issues with it (The SIP indicators not working without a driver) I had to look up solutions rather than have them provided to me in the instruction manual. As an active pilot myself, the controls are all in decently accurate locations. The spring in the yoke is a little strong and creates a weird feeling while using it, especially when around the center point for the controls. I got mostly used to it after about a week of use. The throttle controls are really loose, and don't feel entirely accurate; however in my opinion that does not take away from the product. (It is not meant to be 100% accurate to all aircraft) The buttons are very plastic-y and when I received it, a button was already broken. I returned it with no issues, and the second one did not have the same problem. The buttons were very reactive but felt kinda flimsy. In Microsoft Flight simulator the controls are really easy to patch, but does take some time to get it to your liking. The hardware is really easy to anchor to a desk, and changing out it's appearances is really easy! For context, I use this primarily with my PC, but have patched it into my Xbox One once to play games like Star Wars Squadrons. All in all, it is a really great all-in-one control system for Xbox and PC and I would recommend it to those who are just getting started!

The problem was after hooking up to Xbox X it worked until it updated then turned into a brick. Didn’t feel like I wanted to go through all the reset with a pc and more downloads for the price I paid.

Velocity yoke and throttle combo.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did like the yoke combo but felt it was a bit cheaply made. The yoke had a lot of play in the shaft. It is not as tight as the honeycomb yoke was. If it was better made I would have stayed with it. I went with the Boeing thrustmaster and airbus throttle quad. So far happy with it.
