I was told by the salesman that the installers would hook up my new 83" LG OLED TV and make sure my Sonos sound system was synced up. They took down my 75" Sony, placed it in my hallway and left. I had no idea how to manage the features (including the AI part). They also removed my bracket saying that they would suggest a new one that they had in their truck for $170. they said that they were only allotted 35 minutes per install.

The technician was awesome and very knowledgeable of product design. They did a quick and efficient job all while providing great customer by providing information on all questions asked.

The agents mounted and connected my flat screen to all devices, hiding cords perfectly. They made certain that everything worked properly before leaving.

The Geek Squad installation service did not meet my expectations. While the TV was mounted, the service felt rushed and very basic, especially considering the high cost. The installer did not organize the cables, did not leave the area clean, and even left the TV box in my home. There was little attention to detail or professionalism. In addition, the TV Basic Mounting 55 is nothing special. It is very basic and feels oversized, causing the TV to sit too far away from the wall, which negatively affects the overall appearance. For a generic Best Buy brand mount that costs close to $200, I expected much better quality and design. While both the service and the mount technically do their job, neither justifies the price. Based on this experience, I would not hire Geek Squad again for TV installation, nor would I purchase this mount again.

Agents mounted our new 83" LG G model TV on a concrete wall, switched two other TVs (one also had to be mounted on a concrete wall), set up our surround sound system, and showed us how to use the new TV to its best advantage. They were friendly, professional and courteous the whole time. Really knew what they were doing. Would highly recommend Best Buy and their Geek Squad.
