    We purchased this stand because I didn't want a wall mount but I also didn't want a big obtrusive cabinet. It was very easy to assemble and it looks very classy. Its metal framework and glass shelves are very durable and I don't worry about it ever breaking.

    FOR THE PRICE, THE TV STAND WORKS VERY NICELY. IT ACCOMODATES A 55 INCH TV EASILY, ALTHOUGH IT IS POSITIONED AS A 50 INCH STAND. I HAD HELP PUTTING IT TOGETHER SO I CAN'T COMMENT MUCH ON THE DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY. IF YOUNEED TO HAUL THE STAND FROM YOUR CAR TO YOUR HOME, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME HELP.

    We purchased this stand recently on sale and are quite pleased with it so far. assembly was easy and it does a great job holding our new 55" HDTV. There is black sticker backing on the glass shelves. (not sure why). I can see how it could get scratched easily. not a major issue though.

    Wanted a simple table for our TV and this one fits the bill. Very simplistic look with glass shelves. Pay attention to the instructions (pictures) as there is a right side and wrong side to each piece.
