Customers are saying

Customers value the sturdiness, ease of assembly, and modern design of this TV stand. Many appreciate its attractive appearance and the fact that it's well-priced for its size and functionality. The ability to swivel the TV is also a plus for some users. While a few customers found the instructions less than ideal, the overwhelmingly positive feedback points to a well-received product.

I was looking forward to building this, it looks well made. Unfortunately I encountered a design flaw in step 2. When installing the back wood panel to the bracket, The wood panel would not sit flush against the bracket and so the screws were unable to properly grab onto the wood in 3 of the 4 holes. Now the panel just falls off. I inspected the bracket and low & behold I quickly identified the problem (see pics). There is way too much soldering in the corners of the bracket and so the metal solder protrudes not allowing the wood panel to properly rest against the bracket. Only positive? Good thing I encountered the flaw early and not late into the project. Too bad

I really like the way this stand looks. And the price was right. It was easy to put together too. I was able to easily put it together by myself, but needed help lifting the TV to the mount. I originally wanted to sit the 55” TV on the top shelf because the product width showed 47.7 inches on the website, but that is the bottom shelf width. The top shelf measures 39.75 inches. The distance between the legs on the TV is 42”. So I had to remove the legs on the TV and mount it. Which worked out fine. It’s sitting in a corner perfectly. All of the pieces out of the box and screws was a little intimidating at first, but the instructions were easy to follow. I laid everything out of the box on the floor and then started to put it together the next morning. The only minor complaint is that one of the hooks on the bracket that attaches to the TV was slightly bent/damaged out to the box. The TV does appear to lean slightly on one side, if you look really hard, but that is not worth trying to adjust. Overall, the stand is exactly what I was looking for.

    Best for bigger TVs

It wasn’t simple to put together, even for my construction savvy son-in-law. I definitely wouldn’t want to tackle it by myself. Good quality, though, and the finished product is heavy, not cheap, and looks great. I’d highly recommend if your TV is bigger than the 42 incher we attached. The prongs of the TV holder visibly stick above the 42 inch TV, which looks a bit weird. I guess we better upgrade the TV!

LOVE this stand, but swivel was hard to set up

The ONLY reason I purchased this stand, other than the sleek modern design, is because it had a swivel mount. I live in a small studio in NYC and needed the TV to face my couch, but also swivel so I could watch it in bed. The assembly isn't ideal for someone who wants to take advantage of the 45 degree swivel mount. There are no instructions on how to make it swivel if you get a dud like I did, and it doesn't come with the tools to fix it if your swivel doesn't work. Insignia & Best Buy customer service didn't even know how to activate the swivel function! If you run into the same problem as me, he's what you'll need to do... You'll need to take a trip to home depot for large hex keys (5.5 or 6 i think) and a wrench. It will take a lot of man power (I couldn't do it on my own), but if you're strong enough you'll be able to loosen the top bolt on the swivel mount and enable the swivel function. Once I got it to work it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Just a pain in the but to get the swivel to actually swivel.

    Quality stand with 65” mounted

This stand really fit the bill of everything I was looking for. Open shelving, included mount and a minimal design. I’m pleased with the construction and quality of the stand. It took me about an hour or so to build. I actually have my 65” mounted and have had no signs of tippage even though it’s listed as supporting up to 55”. My tv weighs only 50 lbs and the mount is rated up to 150 lbs, so I feel confident that it’s securely mounted. I did go out and get some longer screws than what was included for the mount for my own piece of mind. They have included a large array of screw sizes, but for what fit my tv, it was either too long, or just too short for comfort. The mount has swivel and tilt functionality and there are “slant” adjusting/correction feet on the stand which is good because my apartment is slanted. Two things I’d like to bring up are that since the shelf support is in the middle, it reduces the vertical space in that area by about an inch and placing heavy objects on the edge of the middle shelf can lead to some “sagging” or “bending.” It’s not major, but just something to keep in mind that it will put stress on the shelf mount. There’s also additional things for cord management so you can keep everything nice and tidy behind the tv.

    Hands Down Best Tv Stand

Best tv stand I’ve own. It’s very sturdy and looks even better in person. Takes up very little space too. Just note when you attach the swivel, you can choose the height you want your TV to be based on where you screw in the swivel. I’ve seen some people attach it too high.

This stand is sold, stylish, and attractive. Lots of shelf space on the 3 layers. It is not obnoxiously large either. I mounted my TLC 55 inch on the mount and it looks great. I did not install the wall anchor but there is no need to. Very stable without the sIightest hint of instability on carper. I was half awake when i assembled but I had zero difficulties. The only tool that you will need that is not included is a phillips head screw driver. SParky the cat loves crawling onto and chilling on the top layer. I left it bare for just that purpose.

We purchased this tv stand for our living room. So far so good. The material seems very sturdy and this tv stand feels like it will not move around much (it's veerrryyy heavy). We did not use the hanging mount portion so I cannot comment on that. We also did not anchor it to the wall. My only complaint is that nowhere in the specifications did it say that anchoring it to the wall is recommended, that would have been cool to know before purchasing. Overall a good tv stand for a good price.

It was easy enough to put together, the directions were clear easy to follow. The only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is the bracket for the bottom self did not line up properly. Some screws were missing in the other 2 shelves that were supposed to be pre assembled. I thought I was get something new ? Perhaps it was open box. Although I ordered new. For the price it’s sturdy, and can fit a large 55”TV. Good but. Quality control needs a little help.

Good looking TV stand. Fits well in smaller area and is very sturdy for the price. Holds all my equipment (TIVO box DVD player home theater system, 3 of the speakers, a few knick knacks and internet box) nicely and doesn't look cluttered. The instructions could have been arranged better but we got it together alright.

Great, Sturdy and Quality feel to it. Assembly wasn’t too bad. Probably took me about 15 minutes to complete (but took my time to make sure I did it right). Looks great and holds up my 50 inch tv with no issues. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a modern and minimalist design.

What an attractive and VERY sturdy stand! Three options for mounting the monitor. The box was heavy which to me was reassuring. Once complete, very happy camper! Highly recommended if you want a strong and attractive TV stand. Attached is a picture, but bear in mind I haven't cleaned up the wiring, which is easy to do using a built in and very flexible cable management system.
