Customers are positive about the AirFly Duo's ease of use, Bluetooth connectivity, sound quality, and long battery life, with many citing its suitability for travel and compatibility with various headphones. They also appreciate its compact size and generally easy setup and pairing process. However, some customers experienced occasional connection issues and reported noticeable audio latency, while others found the price to be somewhat high. The product's performance with video content was also a point of contention for some users.

Works superbly. Made my flight go so quickly without having to worry about the earbuds falling out since I could pair it with my headphones, which I prefer to use. Haven't tried it with the duo option yet, but looks easy enough to use for that. An extra bonus for another time!

Works really well. No more being tethered to the seat in front of you on a long flight! Instructions are clear. The setup is easy.

Item came in perfect condition. No complaints on the device quality. Somewhat easy to use, but I always have to keep the little handbook on deck because I don’t use it often enough to memorize how to use it other than that I love it and I use it every time I hop on a plane!

I bought this to use my AirPods with my PlayStation Portal. It works just fine but unfortunately my AirPods Pro wouldn’t stay connected. Regular first gen AirPods and Sony link buds work perfectly with this though so I’d recommend it if you’re looking to use other wireless headphones with your Portal.

Overall it serves the purpose I bought it for, i.e., connect to inflight entertainment systems. I had some issues pairing and the audio quality is not as great when it comes to doing a direct connection but you have to accept that if you intend to use it with your Bluetooth headphones in flight. Upon first connection, there was a noticeable lag and echo, but that did eventually disappear somehow though I really don't know how. Overall, excellent for my purposes.

Worked well with JBL and Bose earbuds. Now I don’t need to plug/unplug my headset on flights and the BT range means I can listen to the restroom and back. If playing from tablet 2 people can listen whereas iPad only connects to one BT headset at a time.
I also use it on guided tours instead of using their earphones. There is some latency but then in flight entertainment isn’t known for ultimate fidelity. Easy to setup and use.

Works fine. Had to follow instructions in manual for first time set up as it's not intuitive. After that, it was easy to connect and use. Frees up space in carryon bag as I can use my earbuds and don't have to pack large headphones any more.

This is the 2nd one i purchased, I gifted the first to my brother-in-law who is a fire captain and they use it for the fire truck. He also used it for the airplane and he said it worked well. I used it for the airplane but i used it in first class and they didn’t have a place to put into the ipad.

The AirFly worked as advertised. I used it on my recent flight to Hawaii. It connected quickly to my wireless earphones, and operated for 4 hours with no issues. Great having wireless connectivity to the on-board TV entertainment system. I remained connected even when I went to the restroom.

This Bluetooth Audio Receiver is just what I was looking for. My "Zune" music device does not have bluetooth. This receiver allows me to use my ear wireless headphones to listen. It's easy to use and works great!

AirFly Duo makes international travel a breeze! Some airlines offer bluetooth pairing, but I have always had challenges getting connected. This item solves that problem, AND allows me to listen to audio and watch movies with the Noise Cancellation feature of my headphones.

Worked as advertised. Broke it in on a 13 hour flight paired to my new Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones. Very simple to pair.
Really liked not having the wire from the seatback display to my headphones facilitating movement in and out of the row.

I have not yet had the opportunity to use my new Airfly - will do so on 3/16/22 when we go to France. I am basing the following on comments made by my son and daughter-in-law who each have this product and love it. They use it with apple airbuds and say the quality of sound is excellent as opposed to those lame earphones the airlines give you.

Monaural sound only

Item was easy to sync to my AirPod Pro’s and tried it with my iPad without difficulty. Used for first time two weeks ago on AA 787 in first class. There were two plug slots for headphones (never used the supplied B&O NC headphones). I plugged in to each of the two plugs but would receive monaural sound in APPs when watching aircraft monitor. I disconnected and just used my iPad Pro with my APPs using BT from iPad. After exiting aircraft I later wondered what the male plug(s) on the supplied B&O NC looked like and wondered if I needed a plug adapter? On return flight (same aircraft/airline) I looked and the headphones plug was single and of the same size. Bottom line, d Vice probably would’ve worked fine in main cabin assuming there is a single plug input on the monitor (didn’t walk back and look). It is my understanding that airlines are upgrading their systems to allow for built-in BT connection thus negating the need for this device. Item was returned yesterday.
