These are great if expensive lights. Got this set so we could try the dots on my kids desk for his room. He loved it so much I got the much bigger set to place around his bedroom. (Pictured, 60dots + 400 dots)

These lights were awesome! I love the fact that I could change colors and patterns each night if I wanted too. And the app is always bringing new looks to download daily. Worth every penny!

These are spectacular Led smart lights. The patterns are very neat and they are a lot of fun to use. The family loves them.

The app is a bit janky from time to time, but overall the system works great, the lights are nice, and I really appreciate the versatility of them through the seasons. They still don't look as nice as incandescent lights imo, but for the amount of functionality you really can't go wrong.

I picked these up after having yet another cheap string of Christmas lights burn out in storage. My theory was that buying the cheaper lights wasn't actually saving me much money in the long run, and I'd had a pretty good experience with Twinkly's light panels recently so why not see what they can do with Christmas lights. My feelings after getting through a single Christmas season is that this was probably overkill. But also that I don't particularly mind. The 400 light string did a pretty good job covering my 7 foot tree. Coverage is perhaps a little more sparse than some opt for, but given how much the effects add I didn't find myself missing anything. The strand is split into two separate 200 light segments, joined in a Y-shape to the controller. It's different, but it works, and opens up some interesting options for cable routing. And once you've gotten the lights on, you can use the app to map the location of each INDIVIDUAL light in the string in 3D space to allow for some rather intricate effects, including the display of images. I've tried this feature with other Twinkly products and while it usually works pretty well, I'll admit it did struggle here. I think part of it is the fact that I had the tree in a corner, making it difficult to get a good angle all around it, and partly due to occlusion from the needles making it hard to spot some of the LEDs. According to the app I only managed to get about 40% of the mapping done. Good news though is that even with just that 40%, it looks quite good. Playing with the effects was a lot of fun, and i eventually made my own cycling through a variety of festive colors with a light twinkle. And the dots strip is a great bonus. I ran it behind the curtainrod for my patio door, which created a very nice subtle aura around it that syncs up nicely with the tree. I'm probably going to keep that strip up year round, particularly given how easy it was to discretely route the cables around the frame. I'm not going to say that this is really anything you need to get, because clearly it's not. But it looks great, it works great, and overall the build quality does seem much better than the cheap light strands I've been picking up at the local hardware store so with any luck it'll last more than a season before breaking down. And it's a great way to add a bit of extra flair to your holiday celebrations.

These are a lot of fun, and there's so much you can do with them. I thought the 400 string would be plenty, but I wish I had more like 600. the dots are fun, but not really very good for a Christmas tree. However, I am using them as lighting for around the TV, and it's cool that I can adjust the color to just the right type for the show. Wish there was an easier way to allow the dots to sync to the sounds of the show, but the only way I've found is through an additional purchase, and these are already pretty expensive. Still they are fun, especially for the tree.

These lights do way more than what I was expecting, and I loved how easy they set-up was. I had the string up and running within 20 minutes of getting home! The dots are so fun, I have them placed around some photos frames quickly, and the 'snakes' pattern had different colors chasing around each of them... This photo is how it looked right when I set it up and just draped them around the frames...

I purchased Twinkly lights last year for my tree, This year I bought this new set to add another 400 lights, plus I bought a set for outside to WOW my neighbors! They are so easy to set up with the Twinkly App.

Twinkly Lights made Christmas a bit more magical this year! I’d previously gotten a smaller set of Twinkly Lights and loved how they worked but felt my tree looked a bit bare. This set with more lights made a huge difference. In general, the Twinkly Lights work exactly as advertised, with easy mapping of my tree and customizable animated multicolored light patterns I can change on the fly. Alexa support means I can make it turn on and off when I leave the house or go to bed. Highly recommend!

My wife really likes the dots with these (And she likes the strings too), but the dots go over a window and she likes to change them with the season. We've had the strings and dots for some time now, and the strings have survived being up for over a year (Survived winter and other seasons well on an enclosed porch) App is easy to use, and is very customizable. I really do enjoy how to customize/change the lights and the different functions you have with them. Would recommend picking these up on sale (Be sure to check as they often are)

I actually couldn't be happier with these lights. I actually got my first pair at Best Buy 2 years ago for outside and they work exactly as well as the day I got them. (Actually better after a firmware update). I wanted a second pair for my tree and they are beautiful. We can change the colors with themes and will continue to do so for all seaons.

Love these lights on my tree. The dots I used through my Christmas garland and I’m getting another set for my tree. I love that I can change the pattern daily if I like and the app is easy to use. The sync control does get a little warm to the touch - I’m not sure why but others have said the same thing.

I highly recommend these lights if you enjoy bright, colorful lights. They are expensive but very worth it if you are into lights. There is an app to control the lights the colors and patterns (connect via WiFi). Once connected to WiFi, you also have the ability to turn them in and off as well as set a timer via the app.

I was really impressed with these lights. The quality and how easy the app was to use made it more fun. I love that on the app. You can select different patterns and pictures that the lights would create. The lights really stand out and they're very bright highly recommend these lights for sure

I bought this over a year ago and some lights went bad. I keep them outside along our backyard fence and they looks great. Change colors, smart features, easy setup. Can’t go wrong as the company sent me a new set by sending them an email with the issue and them checking my purchase via my email account/product registration.

Beautiful, but expensive, lights for your Christmas tree, wreaths, and other areas you want lit by stunning, moving, changing, vibrant, festive lights! Lots of presets make this easy to use, but also capable of significant customization. Easy to use, put on the tree (in no particular manner), scan, and enjoy! This is the future of decorative holiday lights!

Bought this for our new 9’ xmas tree and it worked great. The kids had fun designing the light pattern and colors. Setup was easy, the most difficult part was putting them back in the box after the new year when the tree came down. They were expensive but assuming trhey last for the next 7-10 years it will be worth it.
