We were in the market for new tree lights. Our 10 ye old set of Phillips leds were just not working right any more. On Black Friday we decided to decorate only to find less than slim pickinsfor traditional lights at our local big box stores. With the power of Google found this item was in stock at our local Best Buy so I braved the BF crowds and ran over to grab a set. Is the perfect amount of lights for our 7 ft tree, and boy were were surprised by how neat these are. The mapping feature works so well and the preloaded effects in the app are so fun! Super pleased with this purchase, woth every penny even if full price.

Holy crap, I returned this because there were too many different lights. I thought I had a brilliant idea for my house but turns out that the bozos before me put shutter guards up there. The shutters are high on my split level house, and I bought some extension stick from another store to get them up there, only for the hooks (not included, had to buy them where I got my stick) would not latch on. I flew my drone up to inspect only to see anti Christmas light blockers...so I could not hang up all these lights. Worth the money, if you do not have a dumb house. I will figure out how to hang them up next year and buy more. UGHHHHHHH. DJI Mavic Pro. 10/10 Wait, sorry, forgot I was reviewing Christmas lights. Those might had been a 10 too. IDK, never put them up.

This package does not have the adhesives for the Dots. If you plan to mount the Dots, be prepared to find your own solution.

Product works just as expected, and as advertised, haven't got around to using the computer program yet but the Android app works as expected

The green-wire lights are considerable fun, especially the mapping function using a cell phone with app. I went on to also try the 400 light transparent wire dots with closer spacing, which I think have a bit more potential for concentrated, if somewhat smaller-area shows. The programming options with the Residential series of Twinkly lights are limited; I assume that the considerably more expensive PRO models with more elaborate controllers will have broader options. The Twinkly residential lights seem marvels at providing some impressive animated effects that until now have required rather expensive controllers, lights, and some effort at programming (or purchasing ready-made sequences). I'm not aware that there's anything else on the market resembling Twinkly's light mapping.

I got them for Christmas but I think I'm going to keep them up all year in the kids play room. They are great. The kids love all the different modes.
