I’ve been buying Twinkly lights for many years. Terrific for front yard holiday lights. Easy to program with the app that provides lots of different themes for other celebrations. Last year my Twinkly setup won me a first prize in a neighborhood association holiday lights contest.

I was a little skeptical about these lights at first but they won me over quick. I had enough to do my whole house and I love the convenience of the app. You can change the color of your lights by the simple push of a button. You can also use the app to set up the timer to turn your lights on and off. These are really cool lights and i would totally recommend.

Love these lights! We used them to decorate the outside of our house for the holidays. Some thing to note - if you use them on the outside of your house and not on, say, a tree or bush, you can't use the mapping feature. It won't map all the lights. But, there are some cool effects you can still use that still look good. And you can customize the colors. We're going to try to leave them up all year and change the colors according to the season/holiday. They are fun, for sure!

I love Twinkly lights! These strands are amazing, use them to keep the house decorated year round. The app is simple and the lights are extremely versatile and fun to mess around with. Will absolutely be purchasing more!

I never thought I'd be writing a review for Christmas lights, but dang, these look great and are fairly versatile. Have a wicked cool Christmas tree, a dope Halloween display the next, bring them out for dazzling fairy lights for parties. Great purchase overall.

Where to start…most people think I’m nuts for spending this much on a set of Xmas tree lights. They are very cool! Mine were a royal pain in the butt to connect, but I was prepared after reading reviews as some people had the same issues. After connected, the App is easy to use to control the lights. Go to their site to help determine how many you need. The more lights, the best the light show.

I think the product overall is great. The length of the cord at the end of the lights makes it easy to find a suitable outlet. The only downside is you can’t plug the lights into each other. For a need to use multiple strands, you have to consider extension cords to plug them in.

I can't believe how good the app is. I use Nanoleaf lights every day and that app is horrendous compared to the Twinkly app. The programming and mapping of the lights is a breeze and the whole experience has been great. I will use these for both Christmas and Halloween. Awesome.

These lights are awesome! I made a grid with nails on my empty wall apporox 4' x 6' looks awesome! I change the patterns all the time and it runs for 6 hrs 365 days! Wish they had more patterns

Product on its own performs as described. Trying to integrate it with an existing generation one product (Twinkly tree), is not so easily done. (I still have no success at this point). The product's website only offers pre-scripted q & a's. Still awaiting e-mail response from main site in Italy. Wil resubmit here, if that experience produces something informative or informational.

These lights are great; a little on the expensive side but nonetheless great. I haven’t been able to figure out the music part of it but eventually I will. Other than the cost, everything about these lights are wonderful. The colors are amazing and the app is easy to use

This was my first Twinkly purchase and the start of a new obsession. I have added a couple more sets and will be adding more when they go on sale. I really like being able to change the colors per the holiday coming up.

High quality lights. DEFINITELY has the WOW factors seeing commercial level effect at home. I put the 600-light version over a 7.5 feet tree and it is just about the right count. The App is good in general. However the 3d mapping could be better. It failed most of the time. Had to use 2d mapping which only gave one side visual effect.

These lights are AMAZING! We purchased the music attachment with it. The lights are pretty customizable and will dance when the music is played loud enough for receiver to hear it. A little pricy but worth it

I first got the 100 string for the Christmas tree and loved them so much I bought the 600 string when they were on sale. They can change any color and you can program any pattern into them. Works great with the phone app.

First, I would like to say that the technology of this is quite amazing; however, not sure if this is quite ready for prime time. Let's start with the good. The fact that you can simply hang the lights however you like and then 3D map them is quite good. However, the bad is that the cord is a "Y" shape with 300 per side and no way to physically connect the lights to each other. Meaning, if you have multiple strings on a large tree you must connect each to their own individual outlet and run down the trunk. Next, creating the 3D mapping seems easy enough until you get to some of the effects that have distinct shapes (i.e. batman, countdown, santa, etc.) in which the system either puts the effects too low on the tree where you can't see them or in the case of the countdown puts it on the back of the tree. There is no way to define the "front" of the tree despite several mapping attempts and trying to use the advanced mode. Probably the biggest concern at the moment is after a MUSIC firmware update the device no longer works with music. The music driver settings were completely removed and replaced by ones that have no response to the music/sound in the room. It worked for the first 10 or 15 minutes until the software update. Overall, most of the effects are very impressive. The 3D mapping process is very sensitive to reflections in windows, and somewhat to the amount of light in the room. A great product with a lot of promise. Hopefully some software upgrades will address the shortfalls. Finally, do not expect to be able to make your tree just white. The diodes in the LED's are not equipped for this and the result is a very bluish white with not every LED bulb looking the same. It's pretty sad that a $250 light string can't perform basic white. You must get the "special edition" which I cannot see in the 600 just yet. This is a pretty big oversight in my opinion.

they look awesome on top of my house. i just bought them for Christmas this year. I originally had the tree so it made me want to try the lights and i can say i am not disappointed at all and i don"t think you will be either.
