Love these lights! We used them to decorate the outside of our house for the holidays. Some thing to note - if you use them on the outside of your house and not on, say, a tree or bush, you can't use the mapping feature. It won't map all the lights. But, there are some cool effects you can still use that still look good. And you can customize the colors. We're going to try to leave them up all year and change the colors according to the season/holiday. They are fun, for sure!

Awesome little lights. A bit finicky sometimes with the music player, but overall a great investment. These are definitely higher quality than your store-bought LED Christmas lights, and I hope they'll last for many years. In the non-Christmas timeframe I've looped them around our basement ceiling, that way they can be enjoyed all year!

I love these Twinkly lights. Best Christmas light you can get besides the Pro version. I wish they sold the pro version at Best Buy. The app is great too but I don’t think it can Connect to 5G, i’m happy it has an internal Wi-Fi so you don’t even need Wi-Fi besides a smart phone.

The only ding I have against these is that Twinkly recommends 100 lights/foot of tree. If you don't care about seeing the tree underneath, that's a good amount. 300 was a pretty reasonable number for my 7-ish footer last year. If I go bigger on the tree this year, I can update with a photo.

I finally opened my twinkly String & Music 600 today I purchased from BestBuy. After removing the cellophane 'sealed' wrapping, I cut the sealed tape which would normally open the box, then noticed the box and the inner box was glued together at every joint. Once opened I found a $5 string of lights and an assortment of junk (random power brick and a usb angle adapter). Notably not the $179.99 worth of Twinkly Products.

Fun lights for your tree or any other decoration, will probably end up getting more of them. Super easy to set up using the app, and tons of configurations. There's even a guy who built a sequencer to show text and graphics. The 600 lights cover a 7" christmas tree perfectly.

600 wasn't enough. I installed 600 on my 9 foot Christmas tree and immediately wanted more. The lights are bright and spaced perfectly for a good coverage. 9 foot tree needs 1200 lights! These are so much fun to program and play with. Spent hours creating new looks. A must for any geek that likes to show off.

Great lights and effects. Hopefully they hold up for years to come considering they are very expensive.

Awesome lights!! we love the dynamic display and the total control we have. We can have them bright during the Christmas party and even twinkling rhythmically to the music which is just awesome and an added bonus and then we can have them dimmed down when we're relaxing watching Christmas movies together.
