Great product for customized rgb Christmas lights. Just be sure to double check the lengths you need. These are not plug n play to each other like the old school lights.

A little complicated to map, but necessary for future Lights changes. Lights are bright. The lights must be plugged directly into an ourlet (no extension cord!) In order to work with smartphone. At least this set of twinkle lights comes with electric plug in and conrroller

These lights are sure to make anyone who only has used regular Christmas lights very happy. Bought as a gift and the recipient used them non stop throughout the holidays.

We bought our first set of Twinkly last Christmas and were very impressed.... We were so impressed that we bought our 8 techie grandkids each a set this year for Christmas.

Worked as advertised, i wrapped two strings, 800 lights total, around a large tree in front of my house. Joined the two strings together with the app, used the mapping feature (photo/movie from the phone) and 30 seconds later the patterns looked amazing !!! The obly issue i had was the firmware upgrade tried running from the gallery of the app and it never runs. Start a firmware upgrade from the setup menu, then the led on the controller will turn yellow, this means its updating. We liked these lights so much we bought another. I have been making my own patterns, most of which run slower than the prepacked patterns.

They lights are Great very easy to use. Plus you can control them on phone app.

Love these string lights especially the different effects in the app. Its the first time I used them so looking forward to next year’s holiday decorating season!

I had bought these before and they are perfect. The quality is good and easy to pair with your phone. The price was great because it was on the Deal of the Day.

The best solution for Christmas lights. These can be stung up on your Christmas Tree and they really do some amazing displays. Each light can change colors and there are themes you can use to display a rainbow, snow effects, patriotic colors etc. You can control the output from the app on your phone with options for different effects too. These lights may be somewhat expensive but if you can catch these on a good sale like we did, you won't be disappointed.

I have a 400 something light tree and now this 100 string going around the window of my home framing the tree. It is awesome. Bored with one design or color, change it up easily. They synced together pretty easily as well. My only complaint would be you cannot have multiple phones hooked up to the app and lights unless im just dumb and have not figured it out yet. I foresee myself spending a lot of money on these lights over the next couple years

First, let's acknowledge that these are stupidly expensive. That being said, I am so flipping in love with this string of lights, I also bought a "cluster" strand. I turned my living room into my workout room, since my gym has been closed bcz of Covid. I thrive on sparkly, color-changing things and these lights with all the built in patterns and ability to modify those patters, totally fit the bill. (Yes, I live alone, so I can get away with converting my living room to my workout space! :-) ) I'm going to leave these up year round, bcz I am using them as mood lighting. I don't decorate for any holiday, so those of you who are losing your mind at the cost of these, if you were to only use them for Xmas season decorating, I would completely agree. They would be hard to justify for only seasonal use. For anyone wondering if you can use them in other ways for other seasons, the answer is yes. You can string them around the perimeter of a room and set a pattern/color theme for whatever the latest holiday is, so you can get year-round use of them. Or, in the backyard, you could string them along the fence, gazebo, patio, etc. You would just map them differently, than if you are using them on a triangle shaped tree. Again, stupidly expensive, but if you are a holiday nut or love color-changing, programmable lighting, totally worth every penny. Also, the first time I tried to get them to connect to my WiFi, it was a quite irritating. But once they were connected, works fine. Biggest drawback is that they only connect on the 2GHz WiFi spectrum. Wish it would operate on the 5GHz spectrum. Maybe in a future firmware update.

These are the best Christmas lights you can buy. Buy more than you think you are becasue the more densely you wrap the tree the better the different light effects will be. Easy to use. Get the App. Create an account works with WiFi to turn on and off. When wrapping lights do not hide in branches so when mapping it will detect all lights. You can customise colors and brightness and there are some customizable patterns. It is a lot of fun.

We like these and the many different colors are pretty amazing. They were easy to unbox and put on the tree, but the setup using the app wasn't as simple or seamless as we had anticipated. Part of the problem appeared to be that you need to have a pretty good camera on your device to capture the lights and the camera on my iPad wasn't cutting it in the low light situation. This was a test run to decide whether we were going to buy more of these for Christmas next year. We do like these, but the price probably will need to come down a little before we invest in several strands.
