My first set had an exposed/uninsulated wire that I found while hanging them. I promptly returned them for a new set. These lights are bright and very customizable. My only complaint is the sound syncing isn’t the greatest and mapping the lights when they aren’t strung around a tree has proven to be a little tougher to get right.

My kids enjoyed drawing their own light designs. I coupled this product with a smart plug to have Alexa control the off/on/timing of usage. Would recommend again. One box covered my 6ft tree very well.

The app makes it easy to change colors and patterns whenever you want. You can even make a playlist of your favorite patterns. Very flexible. They are a little pricey, but worth it.

In theory they work with Razer Chroma, but they don't make it clear how poorly it works. You need to keep a program running on your PC at all times as a translator and you really need multiple strings of lights to do anything useful.
