In theory they work with Razer Chroma, but they don't make it clear how poorly it works. You need to keep a program running on your PC at all times as a translator and you really need multiple strings of lights to do anything useful.

Customer Support is Terrible

However, a couple weeks in they stopped being controllable from my phone/Alexa. I have been trying to get support on the phone, but they refuse to call me or provide a phone number. They have been sending emails and we have been going back and forth for the last month. It’s getting frustrating. The lights have limited capabilities when unable to connect to WiFi. I absolutely loved them when they were working - I’m sorry I bought them now. Very expensive lights to have this amount of issues.

The lights works with Alexa so they can be controlled by Alexa with a smart plug or you can just use the Twinkly app. These are generation 2 and will work with Twinkly music.

This light set fit our 7 ft tree perfectly. App works great, and light patterns, colors and modes are easily customizable. Everyone loved that the lights could be changed on demand. Highly recommend!

Fully programmable from an easy to use app and the colors look great. Some of the pre-programmed settings are mesmerizing. They also come in a high quality, professional packaging.

Next Level Lights Controlled by your Phone

If you have multiple users with Smartphones in the same household, sometimes it seems that the app gets confused and this can cause brief hiccups, especially if both are trying to make changes at once. So many options to choose from, you will never get bored with these lights.

Used them on the tree for Christmas and it was awesome. I wanted to get more use out of them and moved them to our deck. They claim they’re for indoor and outdoor use. Power supply stopped working less than one year. Good luck finding a replacement power unit.

Posted .Hi! Our generation 2 strings are IP44, so they can be used outdoor, but here also some tips to enjoy them for along time:
Consider placing the plug and the controller in a proof location, and to avoid plunges into the water for a long time (pools, gutters, puddles… )., one other good solution, if you don't have any safe place near the string, is to buy a waterproof box for plugs, which stores both the controller and the plug itself.
