My kids enjoyed drawing their own light designs. I coupled this product with a smart plug to have Alexa control the off/on/timing of usage. Would recommend again. One box covered my 6ft tree very well.

In theory they work with Razer Chroma, but they don't make it clear how poorly it works. You need to keep a program running on your PC at all times as a translator and you really need multiple strings of lights to do anything useful.

Customer Support is Terrible

However, a couple weeks in they stopped being controllable from my phone/Alexa. I have been trying to get support on the phone, but they refuse to call me or provide a phone number. They have been sending emails and we have been going back and forth for the last month. It’s getting frustrating. The lights have limited capabilities when unable to connect to WiFi. I absolutely loved them when they were working - I’m sorry I bought them now. Very expensive lights to have this amount of issues.

The app makes it easy to change colors and patterns whenever you want. You can even make a playlist of your favorite patterns. Very flexible. They are a little pricey, but worth it.
