Can't complain about functionality, it works well with the surface and makes it feel closer to a computer but I believe that for an accessory its a bit overpriced, especially considering you could get a fully functional computer (possibly with better specs and features) for a similar if not a lesser price than for both a surface and the keyboard. Nonetheless, its worth considering for those who own a surface.

This is a good keyboard. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the price. Microsoft does not do justice to accessory pricing.

Got the Surface and the keyboard as a gift for my wife. She has had bad luck with laptops in the past so I thought this might be a good choice, using a tablet with a keyboard. I will admit I didn't expect the keyboard to be as useful and as good as it is, but is works great when you want a laptop over a tablet. Recommend to anyone who has a Surface.

The last keyboard was not my favorite, but this one works really well. Combined with the kickstand this makes typing quite easy!

If your Surface is really going to "replace your computer, laptop, and tablet" you have to have a keyboard. Like many others have said, the keyboard should come with the tablet (its essential). I wish I could give this 4.8 stars. I'm only docking it down to 4 starts because its made sort of fuzzy, and as a student this thing goes everywhere. I wish it was more plastic on the outside so I could wipe it down with a Clorox wipe or something. Love that it lights up and I love the improved mouse pad.

The red type cover is an awesome keyboard. Did take a little to get used to but not much and would highly recommend.

I really like the keyboard...its attaches/detaches from the tablet in a snap. The only thing is that it looks more like orange than red...which I personally like but the listed color could be a little misleading if you're looking for a solid red color...

Great keyboard for my Surface 3, love that the keys are backlit. Makes working in a dimly lit room perfect since there are times I forget where the keys are. The touchpad is a little small for my personal preference but I do use a Bluetooth mouse which makes up for it. Regardless perfect keyboard. Totally recommended it.
