As technology advances and now you can use your smartphone or iPad for a video doctor appointment these are needed tools. A doctor can only tell so much about you visually. This kit gives them needed information on what's going on inside our bodies. Our health plan now provides for free on line video doctor appointments which both my wife and I plan to use when sick when feasible. This toolkit is a must have, in my opinion, if you are going to use this service.

I returned this. It was not only very expensive for what you get but the thermometer was inaccurate and wildly variable in readings. I think that there are plenty of other video medicine modes out there now, which are free and actually preferred by most doctors patients are currently seeing. But, the killer is that this is PAINFULLY INTRUSIVE FROM A PRIVACY PERSPECTIVE. Just to try it to see if it is something that will work well for a family, they require extensive registration and demand sensitive personal information to sign up. You can't even take your temperature without submitting extensive personal data. Perhaps we'd all feel more comfortable divulging such extensive information if we knew much more about the company, it's privacy policies -- or, for that matter, if it was something we might depend on on a daily basis. Stuck during a pandemic one might consider swallowing such outrageous acts, but even then it is much too much.

This device does not work as a stand-alone unit and the device will only work with APP. The APP is invasive to personal privacy. Some information should only be between a Patient and their Doctor.

The system is great and very easy to use. The waits to talk to a doctor can be long though.

I am and employee at Best Buy, I am also a customer of Tytocare. This product is going to change the way healthcare is done. To be able to do an exam with a physician right there with me is unbelievable. Great for multiple symptom exams and ease of use.

This product is not only a great thing to have on hand, it’s also surprisingly easy to use. The set up process was a breeze and the tutorials were informative and helpful. I highly recommend this product. It makes difficult times with sick children more manageable without having to leave home.

This kit is a brick unless your doctor has an expensive subscription to the service. And near as I can tell, there aren't any doctors doing it, at least in my area. It plugs into your phone and immediately requires an unlock code. So unless your doctor has specifically told you to buy this device, don't.

Don't work like advertised. Too complicated to work.

You do need to do the enclosed tutorials & the system works well with St. Peter's Health. We purchased Tyo Care on March 25, 2020 upon recommendation of our primary care physician

Such a cool innovative device. I bought it due to COVID thinking just in case we can't leave the house or something. Works really well and I just hope more doctors and insurance companies start contracting with Tytocare.

This worked better than expected. Just need to follow the insteuctions. Beats having to go to a doctor and wait in the lobby

This is an amazing thermometer never seen anything like this you can chat with your doctor in camera live also it checks your ears and throat and you send everything to the doctor

This is an awesome product for patients who’s insurance will cover it. Simple and works great. I am a nurse and bought it to live stream lung sounds as I now wear hearing aids and cannot use a regular stethoscope. While it does have the feature to live stream. Tyto support informed me that that feature is disabled prior to sending them to Best Buy.

My anthen insurance wasnt supported by the app which instantly killed its use to me. I bought it so i could do teledoctor visits in case i get sick but if i have to pay full price for those doctor visits then id rather just go to my normal doctor

It’s super easy to use. I love the option of sending information to a doctor or having a live web exam.

I got this primarily to take the temperature of my wife and I as the Covid scare was in full force (and kind of still is) around mid-year last year. However, given all the other diagnostic capabilities of this device, I figured it would be good to use it in place of going to a doctor in person - depending on symptoms, of course. So, for me, it would 90%+ of the time give me a calibration error when reading my forehead temperature, and it was quite difficult to do the other diagnostic measurements, too. However, for my wife, the diagnostics mostly worked. I talked to Tyto support several times about my issues, and they sent me a new device. But, the new device never got my temperature, although it worked for my wife again. Also, if you want to do a televisit with a doctor, you can run the diagnostics yourself first and send them to a doc and then discuss or you could try to run the diagnostics with the doc live on a Ipad, for example. I didn't do either. It would cost you for the doctor televisit, of course. I found I could have a televisit with my regular health care provider for only $25, cheaper than through TytoCare.

I got this thing new and it never worked for me new out of the box. I called and emailed customer service and they dont care and never got it to work so stuck with a non working garbage since day 1. and lost $300. I also hear you have to use their Dr. so you really dont have much options for Dr. I would avoid because your health is serious and i would just go to your local Dr. or have your local Dr. provide you with tele medicine as most now offer that service through video or phone. Save your money and your health.. You are worth more then this.. Call your local Dr. and avoid this.. Your health and families heath is priority.. Avoid this.

tried it ,was very senstive to background noise ask to check the heart multiple times as a physician trying it out was hoping the device would be great addition to use in telemedicine not there yet

Fabulous product, but best for pediatrics, and less informed consumers. Newer products may offer more sophistication, more measurement parameters , and work with more telehealth sites.

I have three kids that are older now, I wish I had this when they were younger so that I wouldn’t have to drag them to the doctor every other week! This is a groundbreaking product that every family should have.
