Fast Charge w/ Correct USB Wall Charger

I tried using the wall charger that came with my phone, since a wall charger isn't included with the pad. The red indicator light began flashing a few seconds after placing my phone on pad. I purchased a higher output fast charger rated at 2.4 amps 12 watts. Now the green indicator LED is on solid until the phone is fully charged at 100% then turns solid red.
