Micro USB (?)

Great product but one simple mistake makes it very inconvenient. The battery is charged via micro usb, even though the switch uses USB c. This is extremely inconvenient for obvious reasons. My phone uses USB c too so I really don't have a micro USB anymore, very very inconvenient.

This item was not cheap, even on sale. When I bought it, I had to pop in various panels on the battery. It does function as advertised, although it is not able to hold a large enough charge to fully charge my switch “four times” or however it’s advertised.

My son asked for this for Christmas. So far I haven’t heard any complaints.

It is a very good charger for the Nintendo Switch. It can give you extra playing time. Plus, you can also charge your iPhone and Android phone. It very helpful in a blackout if your phone's battery is dead or almost dead.

It extends the battery life as mentioned and recommend at the reduced price. Nice not having to get a specialty cord and play plugged in so you can play longer in handheld mode.
A couple of things that some have mentioned:
1. Vents: Some have been concerned because there are no noticeable vents for air in but it appears it is getting plenty of air. The Switch never feels hot to me while using, I have had it get hotter on the docking station than while using this battery.
2. Charge time: I have found that it charges quicker if you use a good cord. Mine was taking an extremely long time but changed the cord and it started charging faster. Also, use the larger charging blocks (they have 10W, similar to the one that comes with the iPad) instead of the small ones (like the ones for phones that are 5W). They have more power and will charge it quicker. It will not charge as quick as a phone but backup batteries normally take more time.

Comes in Handy, but Could Damage Your Console

I got this device elsewhere, and it works fine. The biggest worry is that it may damage my charging port, especially with how strenuous it feels on the console. You have to pretty much wiggle the console out of the charger, which would definitely cause some serious damage with prolonged use. I recommend it for emergency situations, but I wouldn't use it too often. I've already lost a Switch to a damaged charging port and would hate for it to happen again.

Really cool idea for a battery pack, very heavy but really cool. Unfortunately the instructions say not to use your switch while its charging which is really dumb but oh well
