Awesome case. When package arrived, case was clearly displayed and easy to access. Marketing material found on package was clear and concise. Upon opening, I found the ridges on the case pleasant to the touch and offered a good amount of support while in the hand. The extra cushion around the corners were also robust and provided confidence that if the case fell, that it would offer good protection to the tablet. UAG makes a great product! The pencil holder is a nice touch! The tablet fit in the case well. It was very snug and I don’t believe will come out easily. With the pencil added in, the overall weight is very manageable given the size of the tablet, case, and accessories. The color appears to fend of fingerprints, smudges, dirt and damage well. I did drop the case with the tablet inside and it held up reasonably well. I dropped it in concrete from about 6 feet and no damage to the tablet, but a small scuff on the lower right where it impacted. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid case

The iPad Pro M4 11" is a powerfull but somewhat delicate device. The size is what makes it attractvie but it also makes it prone to damage depending on the environment you use it in. The UAG Metropolis SE Case is great mid-tier protection that offers quality protection. The design is very practical. First, the main case is rubber. This provides a flexible package for increased shock absorption as well as a better feel when holding it. It's fits the device nicely and gives a more secure feel when holding it. The cover is attached and is when closed attaches to the case via a magnet that holds well. The cover is made of a nice sturdy material (not rubber) that is solid and again a good feel. I do really like the look and feel of the case and it's not as bulky as other high impact cases available. The case also has a stand to to prop it up for use. The space around the camera is also sized to provide protection if dropped in the back. Overall this is a great choice if you are looking for a case to protect your new investment.

To me, buying cases for tech products is just as bad as buying clothes. Things I look for in an excellent case are the style, material, build quality, and protection. The things that are most important are it has to be thin, protect the device, be comfortable in your hands, and any bonus features are a plus. I believe the UAG Metropolis SE Case for iPad Pro really hits the mark. One thing that drives me crazy about cases is the material they are made of. Some silicone materials can attract fingerprints, marks, hair, and many other things. Overtime they become less attractive looking/feeling. The material that the metropolis case is made out of is high quality. It feels nice to hold and has the perfect texture. Overall, the case is both thin and light. Even with the case on, it still easily fits in a backpack tablet slot. Obviously, the reason people buy a case is for protection. This case meets military drop standards for protection. I think most people drop their devices regularly and having a case that protects it is a must. I think one thing to consider is how well the case fits and stays on. This case fits snuggly to your iPad and will not fall off even during a fall. Lastly, this case offers features that make it stand out from others. The first is an adjustable kickstand. Although it has preset angles, there are multiple angles that give you the perfect viewing angle for anything you will do with it. Another feature it has is a dedicated Apple Pencil holder. It allows for the pencil to store and charge while also being secure so that it will not fall off during transport. It also has a magnetic flap that holds the front cover of the case in place when it is closed. This adds additional security/protection while in transport. Since the M4 iPad Pro is new, there are still a limited number of cases on the market. Of the few that do exist, this is one of the best. If you are someone who travels/commutes on trains and places, this is a great case. If you are a student this will also offer you the best protection for your iPad.

This brand used to be my favorite but their cases are not it. No open to wake snd trxtire is weird.

This is another excellent case for the ipad pro eleven. It does protect very well, and as long as you can accept a flap in front of you when it's open, then you will enjoy this case. I really like how it holds the apple pencil securely to the spine. The materials in use are top-notch and should last you well into the life expectancy of the iPad. I highly recommend a case this time around because the newest model is ultra thin, which usually will translate to ultra fragile. I personally do not like the flap, being in front of me when it's being set up and landscape mode. I feel it could be done better and offer a better overall experience. This case is an excellent alternative to Apple's premium case and keyboard offering if you dont need the keyboard feature. The ipad snaps in very securely and should stay in place even when rigorously shaken. This case is designed to take a drop as well, and I wasn't brazen enough to test that on my thousand dollar ipad but I will say that it looks like it can.

I’ve had many UAG cases over the years for many different devices, but I really like their iPhone cases. I like this case a lot better than the OEM offerings and along with being durable, it’s very lightweight, but still provides really good protection. I almost never carry any electronic device without a case and my iPad is no different. Considering how much my tablet cost, I didn’t want to be frugal when it came to finding something to protect it. My requirements were essentially, something thin, but protects my tablet well, allows me to keep my pencil connected and easy to deploy for either writing or watching videos. This case hit all of my marks. The case allows me to charge my apple pencil while not in use and there are small indentions on the base of the case that allow multiple viewing angles. In my use, I had no problem with the adjustments, and it remained sturdy even while I was using the touchscreen to go to different videos. I also prefer that the screen be covered while not in use and this one remained in contact with my iPad while it fumbled around in my backpack. I found myself really liking this case and it will be go to when I prefer to go without using a keyboard case. With that said, keep in mind that this is not compatible with a keyboard unless you use a portable Bluetooth version. I am very happy with this case and I believe it to be well made and should last for a good while.

I've had the opportunity to test this out for awhile now, and overall quality and price are just right in my opinion. I've owned other UAG cases in the past especially for my iPhones and they've always been quality. What I noticed with this case as well as my iPhone cases of UAG is that they have this futuristic tech-like aesthetic to them, I don't know if that makes sense. It has a very gadget-y, Iron Man like vibe to them in the best way possible. I upgraded from an iPad Pro 11 inch with M2 which I gave to my sister, but before doing so I wanted to test out the case on it since it's the same size just with the M2 instead of the M4, and I understand now why it's M4 model only. It's not like with iPhones being the exact dimensions for a lot of their models, and that's okay. Just be sure to read before purchasing. Overall, end of the day it's a case, but a very good one. It's super secure, easy to put on, the build quality feels like it will last a very long time. It feels really great and grippy.

The UAG stuff is always a little "rugged" looking - Its part of their brand. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how svelte and form fitting this case was when receiving it. It features a hard rubber body with shock absorbing hexagon liner inside to protect your iPad from bumps, and then features a wraparound "faux-leather-and-felt screen cover that doubles as a flexible multi-angle stand, and screen protector/pen holder flap. If this is the style of case you're into, this one seems to do a pretty good job. I wish the screen cover/stand attachment was removable, as I really liked the base case for what it does - The iPad Pro M4 fits VERY snugly inside, and is well protected from all angles, including a sizable screen bumper edge that doesn't make the iPad feel super bulky. I wish the same could be said for the "screen cover/stand/closing flap, which cheapens the overall look of the kit. First of all the edges of the "faux-leather-felt" cover are "faux stitched" to give the appearance of leather - Why on something meant to look rugged, not luxurious? It seems a mixed message. Second, the flap that holds this thing closed seems superfluous and always seemed to be in the way of my using the tablet when opened- And the hard case potion offers a bit of a "pencil saddle" for the pen to fit into when magnetically charging on the iPad, so putting a "strap/flap" over it seems silly. Also with all the extra space around the screen, put some little magnets in there and spare us the big flap that seems to have nowhere to go when it's closed. This harkens me to online offshore knock-offs of official Apple cases that couldn't do the magnets right. In the end its highly functional, but I'm going to have the soft parts worn and creased all over where I'm constantly fiddling with them when I am USING the iPad, and I wish they were removable. If you are looking for a VERY protective case that you dont mind looking like it was military issued (but stitched and refined, you know, for the officers) then this one is a good fit. If you want simplicity and elegant protection for your iPad that doesn't feel all floppy and awkward, look elsewhere.

If I was rating just the packaging, there would be another star or two. I like the design of the box and how a piece of it slides out at an angle to allow for the case to come out. Unfortunately, the iPad case isn’t as good as I was hoping. It is a bit flimsy to the touch and feels too thin overall. Once installed onto the iPad Pro it is a snug fit and will not come off without some effort. In that regard, it is protective as the corners are reinforced and thick enough to make a difference if dropped. The case covers the back well but the front flap is where I feel it is too thin. The automatic on and shut off feature was sporadically working for me. I attribute this to the magnet in the closure flap not being strong enough. It opens too easily and with little effort. This is a problem if you are carrying it and it was to slightly slip in your hand, it could accidentally open too easily leaving the front exposed to damage. When opened up for use, you can fold the cover all the way around and use it in portrait mode nicely. However, if you want to rotate and use it sideways to watch a movie or an application, the grooves on the front flap are not raised enough to hold the device in place very well and it can fall too easily. The case is made to hold the pencil in place but because the magnet is not very strong, it can come out of place and you risk losing it. For the price, I would look for other alternatives. If they come out with another version, I would consider it because they’re on the right track and with minor changes, they could make significant improvements.

Writing review here because UAG won’t publish it. I received an email apology and discount code after preorder stating the auto sleep function might be delayed by 5 seconds and the wake function was working appropriately. Upon receiving my case, I quickly realized that neither the auto wake nor auto sleep function work at all. I contacted customer service and they now claim the case doesn’t have that feature at all and have scrubbed any mention from their website. Rolling things out without proper testing is bad enough, but lying after receiving an apology email is ridiculous. They will accept the return, but it’s poor form on their part.
