The old model had a metal stand and multiple slots it clicked into, which meant each position was fairly stable. This one has a plastic stand and no slots, so its stability just comes down to how stiff the joint is in relation to how much weight is on it. Have had it shift annoyingly a few times. Another design difference is that the corners of the stand go out further than on the old model. This means when you're standing it portrait mode, the angle is close to 90 degrees. The old model was better for me because it leant back more, which is better for most of my usage. One improvement is that it's much easier to slip the tablet in and out of the cover.

Not only is the title of this listing dishonest, so is the packaging. If you guys are gonna post a case, tou need to specify the model of the surfsce pro too!!
