This case may seem expensive on the surface- but if you do research for cases rugged (enough) with a back plate for a hand holder- you would be shocked at the lack of options. This is a great product- we ended up purchasing 5 for our team in the field to use. They love it because holding it through the hand holster is so much easier and ergonomic and has really avoided some nasty falls. Looks a lot more "official" too when on job sites and using the surface pen.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 6. I like it, because it is sturdy and attractive.

Very disappointed that my surface pro broke from a 3 foot fall in this case. I would strongly recommend against this product. I expected much better protection for spending 100 dollars.

Sturdy case and fits on the Surface Pro 6 beautifully. Accommodates the keyboard like they were meant to be together. the hand strap on the back of the case is a really nice feature and the stand presents the screen at an angle good for working. Keyboard can be detached easily - without disturbing the case. Handy corner elastic holds the keyboard in place

Great protective cover with useful hand strap on the back plus a neck strap this thing is awesome. I've used the surface no from the very first model and every model since. And I don't know how I managed without this case its that awesome. And the stand works great sitting on my steering wheel. As I'm an I.T. guy and do most of my work out of my truck it sits nice and secure on my steering wheel. Love it

Pro's 1.) Nice Rugged (backside) case. 2.) The handle strap makes using Surface on the go simple and comfortable. 3.) Keeps Surface pen secure and easily accessable. 4.) Case Does not prevent most ports access. 5.) Cases is well alined with Ridded outside buttons (Power/Volume) 6.) Side Vents are placed to allow good Airflow for tempature control 7.) Very Secure Fit, Device will not fall out of Case 8.) Cosmeticly pairs very nice with Matte Black SurfacePro-7 and Black Keyboard. Cons 1.) The shoulder straps I recommend just tossing (To long to be compact, To wide to hide, Securing factor requires removal of device from case for release) 2.) (bungie loop?) For keeping the Keyboard as a cover is worthless. Recommend additional large rubber band or Elastic Band instead. 3.) Case makes connecting Power cable a game of skill/Chance. 4.) Stand of back of case, it works, but is unstable and has no locking in/out feature (loose hinge) 5.) Very Secure Fit, Offer words of caution when removing device, Screen with break before Device is released from Case. Over all, good Permanent Case. Could use some Improvements, (Home made modifications) Open faced, Not Weather proof.

I use the stand as a way to visually show people the tablet without having to worry about dropping it, it adds speed to what I'm doing, the kickstand works great, and I still have good access to ports and charging. Overall, it completes my surface purchase usability, without adding a ton of bulk to my daily carry.

I really like the UAG because it provides great protection and it is very easily installed. It has a very nice handle on the back and it also has a stand so that it can support it self in an up right position. It also comes with a shoulder strap that you can put it while you are on the go.

The case is great, fits perfect, a lot of protection, love the shoulder strap and hand hold, walked right into Best Buy had a assistant show me where they were I made the purchase, it was totally painless! Love my new case.

If only buying clothes were as easy as this! Perfect fit and already saved myself from a drop! No scuffs or scratches either!I do wish it were cheaper but I admit it’s definitely worth the price.

This case is great and is very protective of my surface pro. The surface is my main computer at my work which sometimes requires a lot of travel and use outdoor touring buildings and what not. This case allows me to manipulate the surface in ways that is more accessible for me as well as for clients. The handle on the back is great for this. Although I barley use it, I can imagine the included strap might be useful for other occupations such as an architect or contractor.

Definitely provides some additional peace of mind, especially when allowing my daughter to play educational games in tablet mode. As other reviews have stated, the corner "strap" to keep the keyboard closed isn't the most secured so you definitely want to carry with your hand holding keyboard shut. It's also a shame that you lose the ability to attach the Microsoft Pen magnetically, but I suppose that is the price you pay for added durability for the machine.

This case meets and exceeds my expectations. It covers the tablet portion of my surface pro 4. The velcro hand strap makes one handed use a breeze. Plus it has a shoulder strap for even more versatility. On the flip side it does not do anything to cover your keyboard but has a small strap in one corner that keeps your type cover in place when not in use. Overall very happy with this product.

Purchased this case because there are few alternative choices. It is very pricey though. I like the adjustable hand strap in back, and the shoulder strap. We needed these two items for outdoor estimating on our customer's vehicles. The only thing that doesn't work that great is the elastic corner strap that is supposed to hold the keyboard shut. Sometimes it gets knocked off and doesn't keep the keyboard closed.

I really like this case, it has a handle on the back that allows me to grip it without using two hands and without pinching the sides. The shoulder strap can be rather helpful and useful too. I have not dropped it yet so I am not sure how protective it really is and to what extent, but I am willing to bet that it is better to have it than not to have it.

This thing is a requirement if you have a surface. The case made it feel like a tablet, before it felt like a laptop. This thing offers protection but the handle on the case makes it feel like an ipad. The latch on the edge sucks, but not enough to take a full star.

Bought this to keep my surface surface pro 4 safe as my son uses it for online kindergarten. Pros: pen holder, hand strap, carrying sling and cutouts for ports. Works with keyboard attached. Cons: no access to micro SD, prevents keyboard from being held in place magnetically and the elastic strap for holding the keyboard in place does not work well.

Enjoying the sleek design of the Urban Armor Gear protective case for my MS Surface Pro 6. Feeling protected in case of an accident if dropped etc. The highlight of the case is the shoulder strap which makes carrying the tablet so much easier. Have also recommend to family/friends if purchasing any of the Surface Pro devices a UAG protective case is a must.

Great case to protect Surface Pro 6. Makes me more comfortable carrying it places were it could be damaged. Easy to install. Easy to carry. Good stand for viewing when using keyboard. Only complaint is that strap does not hold keyboard closed well when carrying the surface.
