All I will say is “if you spent 1500.00 for a computer, why not spend 75.00 to protect it.

This $80 case broke the screen on my Mac Book. I followed the instruction to a T. Turned my computer on… realized my screen was destroyed. I was deviated. Now I have to go 2-5 weeks without a computer.

It broke the screen of my new Mac Book Pro when trying to remove the case. I had to get screen replaced.

Purchased this to replace UAG case used for the past two years (until repairman removed the case). UAG case was great and this looked identical on the website! Measured case, ordered and returned to BestBuy as I found this model is slightly smaller and would not fit older Mac model. When returning this item to BestBuy. I was told to check for older model cover on Amazon where I found a replacement.

I'm just giving my honest review here. If you're thinking about buying this case, I highly recommend reading other people's reviews on this product on other retailers' sites as well. This case has a great look to it and was easy to put on my mac book pro, but when I wanted to take the case completely off to clean my laptop, I had a really difficult time taking off this case. Removing the case was not as easy as it looks as advertised and I can see how removing it could potentially cause major damage to a mac book pro itself. Other buyers of this product have stated that they have accidentally damaged their mac book's screen and lid in trying to remove this case resulting in hundreds of dollars worth in damage. For all of the trouble of getting this case off my mac book pro, I feel the price is not worth it and I do not recommend this product.

I bought this case to protect my brand new MacBook Pro. It didn't provide enough room to plug in my USB-C converter piece, so I tried to take the case off. Carefully followed the directions, but the case was stuck. After days of fighting with the product, it finally broke my brand new computer screen. Incredibly disappointed in my purchase.
