One of "those" purchases. Traveling to Chicago, so I needed transportation from the Airport to the hotel. I found a limo service much cheaper, so I ended up with a gift certificate I can't figure out how to use. Maybe someday I'll have an explanation. Best Buy didn't provide one.

Anytime you fan get a discount on Uber it’s a great deal. You can use it for both Uber and Uber Eats. Pair it with a credit card with Uber perks and you can increase your benefit.

Uber jacks up the prices when you have gift card balance on your account. There is a reason why there are gift card discounts all over, Uber gets back the money by charging you more than normal. This is something reported on Reddit or other finance blogs, so many users have observed this.

Quick delivery. The code is emailed to you and then you add to gift card balance in app. Everything worked (I had trouble with Lyft codes, but Uber seems to work fine).

can't go wrong with a discounted Uber giftcard. Can pretty much always find use for it with travel or ordering delivery
