The sound on this is amazing, the power of the bass and clarity. And portability, you can send music to a whole block with this one speaker.

I wanted a speaker that I could travel with but was louder than most of the small Bluetooth speakers. I did a lot of research before I bought this. I did not even know that ultimate ears made this big of a speaker, because I didn’t know anybody else that had it. But the reviews were good so I bought it. This speaker is great! It is just what I wanted.The speaker is small enough to carry, but puts out the volume of a bigger speaker, 100 dB.The best thing about the speaker is that there is absolutely no distortion at max volume. I have never even heard a speaker that had no distortion. The sound on the speaker is great. My wife is thrilled and I’m very happy I purchased it.

Excellent sound. I wanted something we could hear at the pool over the noise of the kids playing. Easy to use. Love that 2 devices can be synched to it. No hunting down the last person who was using it.

The speaker with the best bass and sound quality, little on the heavier side but I can live with taht guven it’s sound quality, tried Sonos, Marshall and Bose. They were no where closer to this in terms of the bass

Best speaker for sound and bass period. Note it is a bit heavy to carry around. The strap handle is ok - but you will need a case if you want to move it around. I use it at home mostly

I am a Elementary PE teacher and i bought this to use in the gym and also outside. It is user friendly even for a nontechie like me. I also have the MegaBoom, but this one is much LOUDER and works better outside!

I bought this speaker almost a month ago from the moment I turn it on after fully charging it has sounded amazing, ofcourse I read some reviews and the one common problem people have is connecting multiple booms to the speaker due to the fact that I have a ue boom 2 amd 3 megaboom I learned that when using the app you must always start with the one that is used first on the app it becomes like the master speaker from there on it dont matter which one you connect. I have used all 5 speakers at the same time with a good distance in between them and have had 0 issues now just for kicks I did try it by starting with the hyperboom first and yes they sound like crap they keep on disconnecting even of they are close to eachother so trust me start with the master speaker always. Another thing I noticed is that due to the bass that the hyperboom provides its best to make it a center speaker so that it complements well with other booms.

Excellent sound with great bass for a mobile speaker. Needed a loud portable speaker to use on my boat. Needed to be louder then the engines and wind noise and still sound good. This speaker performs great!

This speaker has been great….on the beach in sand, by the pool, deck areas. We even plug in the outdoor projection TV and sounds awesome. Packs a punch for its size and Consumer Reports named it best clarity. It pairs up easily with many Ultimate Ears speakers also.

Use it every day in my house as a TV speaker with the optical digital input and take it out on the boat every weekend. Splashproof is a nice feature especially when on the boat. Definitely will be taking it to a few Beach party's

Everything about it great! The bass, the clarity, and it gets really loud with just 1 of these speakers. Might buy another to pair for twice the fun

All i can say is WOW!!! This speaker really rocks. Gets VERY loud but no sound distortion at all. Great bass too. Battery lasts forever. A bit pricey but you will not be disappointed. Just get it.

This speaker isn't just loud, it sounds great. Super clear, lots of bass, and the battery life is great. Its a little big but it's really not super big for how it sounds. People were definitely surprised by this thing as was I.

We have a smaller bluetooth speaker we've used outside and we're satisfied with it but always disliked the lack of range. We stumbled on to this and hit the demo mode and we're blown away. I said if it does not sound this good when we get home back it goes. ALL I CAN SAY IS IT'S BETTER AT HOME!!!! sounds fantastic inside and finally something that has some thump to it. No more tiny loudness. Outside fills in our whole back yard great sound. This thing is freeking awesome! Not cheap but if you want full sound and bass and no tinny type sounds this is the ways to go. The mobile app let you tweak the equal to better round out the sound. Could not be more pleased and factory warranty is 2 year make sure u register on mfg website

Nice sound quality and basses. Bose is giving more sound but its almost like 2x expensive so its price performance

Great diamatic sound from a little speaker. Bluetooth connection is great. I take it outside on the patio and yard, over 100 feet away from my sterio receiver and no problem. Great battery power, ran 27 hours at full volume. The diamatics of the sound quality will be a little less in the last few hours of the batteries life but still good quality. I'm happy with it. Very good sound quality. Room filling portable speaker. Slightly on the heavy side but still excellent quality. Would definitely recommend.

The hyperboom provides superior base in comparison to its competitors, such as the JBL Xtreme. I wouldn’t say additional UE Megabooms are necessary but definitely enhance the experience doing a much better job of covering mids in a 360° fashion while the Hyperboom excels at covering the bass. Through the UE app this is very easy to do. The Hyperboom as amazing battery life I find myself charging it about every 22 hours of listening at 80% volume. One feature I’ve used a couple times and is quite nice is using optical audio to connect to a projector or streaming device to provide better bass. If it isn’t clear at this point the Hyperboom is a very bass heavy speaker which many appreciate for current music and entertainment trends!

I've had the Ulimate ears - Hyperboom for over two weeks and I must say that it has meet my expectations. I mainly use the Hyperboom to listen to Amazon Music and it sounds beautiful. It gets really loud without a lot of compression. This speaker has balanced mid and treble ranges that can reproduce clear and accurate vocals and lead instruments. The battery life is outstanding. Over 23 hours before it needs charging again. Simply said, this Bluetooth speaker is one of the best Bluetooth speakers I've ever listened to.

The Sound is great,the bass doesn't take over , and i can hear every instrument including the singer. What i also like it's portable and does not have to be plugged into a wall outlet.
