Hyped-BOOM

I like being able to connect two Bluetooth devices, as well as an optical cable for soundbar-like functionality, and the trusty ol' 3.5mm jack. I'm tempted to pair two of these puppies together. There's no internet functionality. It is rather large, but it's been working for me. Also, Logitech bought Ultimate Ears and I've had amazing warranty experience with Logitech.

Great sound and bass! Power port issue.

The only thing wrong with it is the power port. After 2 years, when the factory warrant expired, it wouldn’t charge, the charging light was not coming on. I bought another cord from the nanufacturer website (an employee eith Geek Squad told me to after they looked at it.) The new cord didn’t work either. So I opened the bottom of the speaker and found that the power port was pushed too far in, so it couldn’t make the connection to charge. I pushed it out and the cord worked.

Great sound for the price

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Bose Revolve + and it cost me $299, and I have used it for 3 years and it now needs a new battery. I purchased the Hyperboom speaker for $100 more and for just $100 more it provides 6 times the sound of my Bose Revolve. I definitely recommend the Hyperboom for its price. The sound is great. However, I tested the Bose S1 Pro at the price of $599 and this speaker has a sound 4 times that of the Hyperboom. My fear with the Hyperboom is that in 3 years the Hyperboom will lose batterylife just like my Bose Revolve +. With these types of speaker you have to send it in to replace the battery. With the Bose S1 Pro for $99 you can purchase the battery separately and replace it yourself and that is amazing because the speaker can easily last you years without ever sending it in for battery replacement. If you have $200 extra i recommend the Bose S1 Pro.
