The BEST Speaker in the World!!

The best feature is the adaptive EQ, which has been awesome when I move the speaker from the pool to the living space and vice versa. Portable is a stretch for longer on foot travel compared to my Mega Boom 3s but it is still easy for my to carry to the parks here in NYC. I've already convinced some of my friends to get one as well.

Excellent Speaker for poolside

I like it much better than the Sony or JBL. Maybe not quite as loud, but they sound great. Only problem, I didn't buy a pair! Will have to wait for another sale.

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest that you download Ultimate Ears' Boom app---available at Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Boom app will allow you to remotely turn on your speaker once you're within range---up to 100 feet away---and also allows you to customize the EQ settings to your liking. With the Boom app, you'll also be able to Party Up and pair to other Ultimate Ears Boom speakers (Boom, Boom 2, Boom 3, Megaboom, Megaboom 3, and Hyperboom) to really get things pumped up. Great but bulky

Really bulky and bumps into a lot of stuff. Next the pause and play button is a split button which you will have to hit the pause part to pause it. Should make two different buttons. Last thing is the volume control is touch sensitive so if I put my phone on the top of the speaker it turns it down or up. But overall everything else is perfect. I is e it in a factory surrounding and hear everything perfect.

Kills all night long!

Sounds amazing every single night, and lasts 8-12 hours for my work shift blasting no problem. Small tip, if you want the battery to last longer, drop the volume a couple dbs, or in their app which is amazing, take out the lowest sub frequencies on their built in eq and save power from going to the sun radiator, you won’t notice a huge difference sound wise but you will get a huge jump in battery life as well at full volume.

Great for music or outdoor movie projector

I bought it because we also have the UE Megabooms (gen 1 and 2). Paired with other speakers it is amazing. I use it for Bluetooth h music or hardwire it to a projector and use it as a sound bar, in both instances it does great. Is it worth the price? Ehhhhh, if it is a passion or isn’t going to tighten your budget too much, yes; but also I’m not your dad, do what makes you happy.
