UE's Hyperboom is pretty nice. The sound is nice, the quality of the device itself feels a bit cheap... We have a Harman Kardon Onyx 4 which we love and that thing was about $120 on sale but the thickness and quality of the device feels more sturdier. Its a great little speaker and has great sound but was hoping for the cost of UE's Hyperbom the plastics would be a little thicker to help with any accidental drops it may incur since its considered a party mobile speaker... I've seen some people review this Hyperboom after a 3 foot drop and someone that had moved it around in their kitchen and accidentally hit their cabinet which in turn busted the control panel on top... It makes me very worrisome about moving it from place to place and I tend to limit its movement just because of that knowledge... All in all this speaker is probably the best thing you can find on the market if you're looking for a portable speaker with good bass. I would highly recommend this speaker.

I love this speaker, I bought it for rooftop parties that we have and it's perfect for that. It's a large roof, but it is absolutely filled with music. In my apartment at full volume it's painfully loud, but the sound holds together really well, the bass doesn't muddy the highs or mids, and it doesn't distort even at high volume. I can't imagine why you would need to pair multiple of these things together, but that's a feature too! The 24 hour battery life also makes it awesome for camping, I'll definitely be bringing it along to Bonnaroo this year. The only complaint I've seen about it online is the price, but honestly for a speaker with this build and sound quality, I don't think you're going to find one much cheaper.

This sound is amazing and you can turn it way up! The deep deep base isn't there but the base in general is great! It's portableness is fun for taking the spea outside... we can hear it across our 4 acres. You can play anything off your phone (any app).

excellent speaker. great bass, mids and highs. easy to set up and pair with phone. I use it in my home gym and it has the ability to shake the house! Only issue is the price is a little steep, but you get what you pay for.

This speaker is better than i though, the battery is enough for a party and the sound is really good, the bass incredible. Is a little expensive but it worth it...

We have been using this hooked up to a record player. It sounds real nice. We never intended to travel with it. But recently took it to a friends house to have outdoor music out a BBQ. It functioned great, not having to worry about water from the pool was a nice piece of mind. The bass really pumps.

Loving music and sound quality of all types. Classical, Metal, R&B etc.. listened to all of these models - Sonos Move w/Alexa, Bose w/Alexa, JBL Boombox and finally came across this in Bestbuy on display. I thought i wanted the Sonos because of the bass and Alexa until I heard this Hyperboom. This thing sounds amazing. Seriously, completely over powers all the others. The price makes a dent in the wallet for sure its worth it. Actually considering a second one for stero sound. Battery last for a few days when playing 2-3hrs a day. 3 months daily playing and it has yet to distort or loose sound and battery quality. Very much recommend.

I've tried Sony, JBL, Samsung, Thermaltake, Bose and none of them have touched this beast. JBL and Bose both are great options but for the costs, features, and sound it's really hard to beat the UEH. The EQ, imaging, bass, and sound quality are astonishing for a portable battery powered unit. This little well sorta little cube turns heads and everyone I've played it for was shocked how good it sounds and how it produces such an amazing sound image. This thing is worth every penny.

Best party speaker by far! I purchased this over the bose PA speaker due to its crystal clear sound and no distortion at high volumes. This speaker has awesome balance. It works well with any genre of music and has great bass thats not too over powering. This batter life of this speaker is way better than over speakers i have purchased from sams costco ect.. If i had one critique it would be that i wish it had a radio option other than that its perfect! At $400 the price may seam high but it is worth every penny.

Has a good sound and for the size very well rounded. Bass is there and the app allows you to adjust to your taste. For size, sound, and usage time of speaker more then worth the money. When using make sure to turn off eq as it does distort bass when used with app eq.

Great speaker. I did my research and narrowed it down to the hyperboom. Wouldn't regret it. The sound is amazing. It bumps indoors and can hear it perfectly till 120ft. Very little distortion with the volume all the way up. Sounds like a hi-fi speaker. Like how you can adjust the bass to bump or if you don't want any. Just depends on the mood. Compared it to the JBL party box 300. It almost gets as loud as the 300 but the quality of the songs are way better with the hyperboom. Can't wait to see what the hyperboom 2 brings lol. If they make one.

Simply put, this is the best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker under $500. Excellent battery life and clean sound even at max volume. I regularly use it as a speaker for my TV as the Hyperboom has an optical input jack (you can also connect it to your TV via Bluetooth). The handle is useful to lug this thing around. Overall this speaker provides clean sound, good base, loud volume, good connection distance and versatile inputs. No complaints so far.

Oh my, the sound that comes from this speaker is amazing. I have purchased and tried many Bluetooth speakers and this one is a clear winner. The highs are very good, the mids bring out the vocals and the nice bass produced by this speaker is fabulous. This speaker is capable of filling a small room to a open air venue with great volume and sound quality. It is a little bigger than some of the portable speaker but none of them can sound like this.

Sounds good to me. Great thing is sound can be adjusted to your ear drum tastes. Bought 2, but rarely see myself using 2 in my medium sized living room. No high ceilings here, average home size. Price is a concern, but to someone that dislikes poor audio like myself and appreciates good quality, it is worth the investment. If you buy 2, you’ll rarely go above 50% volume. This speaker was bought to add music capabilities in house without wires and amplifiers. Remember, like any speaker, placement is key to how it sounds l, so place it on different locations and see where sound is best.

Extremely well built. Easy to use. Easy sync up with my ipad. Well placed controls. Bit pricey, but worth it if you want decent sound in a portable format. Originally had the back of the house wired for 'outside speakers' (before wireless/bluetooth was 'the thing'). Decided to use this speaker instead of buying outdoor speakers. Mobility and portability was key. Guests like the speaker, oldsters keep telling my to 'turn it down' when I'm playing Joe Walsh. Excellent 'boominess' in the bass, which is unusual in an 'all in one' speaker. You won't go wrong with this speaker. love it!

This speaker is beyond what I could ask for! The quality is great, the sound is loud!, the bass is MIND BLOWING!!! Well worth it and much MUCH MORE!!! It’s a home stereo on the go! You can also charge your phone on this!?! WHAT?!? 24hours!?!? All day music!! Spilled my beer? RESISTANT! What more could I ask for?! This is the best think since sliced bread! I’m very VERY PICKY! And this has it all!!! No distortion at any level!

I was looking for another speaker to host a party, I came narrowing down to the Hyperboom, the look and size fits well in the home without looking out of place. Sound wise, quality was great, I was blown away the volume output, not even 50%, I was on 30-40% volume, and it was pretty loud. The bass packs a huge punch, esp if you use with the app! I also love how you can turn on/off on the app. For the price is pretty reasonable, I would totally consider getting one if you can a sale when the holiday rolls around.

Great sound. Extremely sturdy, amazing bass, quickly connects to any device. So cool that lasts 24 hours charged and you can connect cell phone and charge your phone. Everyone that hears it immediately acknowledges how crisp and deep the sound is. No distortion, no feed back, no clipping, only wonderfully clear quality sound. It's pretty cool that you can expand the sound with fiber optic cable to another hyperboom speaker or connect to receiver for home audio. I'm very happy with this purchase

Impressive sound quality and battery life. Positive This speaker placed in the correct position generates a spectacular sound, when I heard it in the showroom of the Bestbuy store the sound filled the entire space with an incredible clarity. Much better sound quality than much more expensive brands. The battery lasts and lasts and lasts .... I use it in my work to listen to music all day and after 8 hours at almost maximum volume it still has more than 70% battery left. I have tested it for three consecutive days in 8 hour workdays at high volume on a single battery charge. Negative. It uses an exclusive charger, I would like to be able to charge it with any USB-C charger. Heavy but that's why it sounds so good. Conclusion I loved it, I'm thinking of buying another one and connecting them together.
