It's super sleek and doesn't look out of place in a family room or office. However, don't let the minimalistic exterior fool you, this thing packs a serious punch. If you're familiar with Ultimate Ears, the Hyperboom may come as a bit of a surprise. The square form factor is a change from the traditional round, and it is massively larger. It is listed as "portable" and included a carrying strap, but at 13 pounds you won't want to be throwing this in your backpack. Moving it from room to room or from the house to the back patio is fine, but I don't know that I would want to lug it across town. I've attached a picture of the Hyperboom next to a Boom 3 to give you an idea of the scale. It pairs easily with my phone, and includes an audio in and an optical port for connection to your TV or gaming system. The highs and midrange frequencies are clear, but the bass is where this speaker shines. At 75% volume, I could feel the bass through the floor. I'm pretty sure my neighbors my hate me now. Walking around my 1100 square foot apartment, my speaker never lost connection to my phone. If you have another Boom family speaker that is compatible with the Party Up feature, you can connect the speakers for enhanced sound. I connected the HyperBoom to my Boom 3 without issue and had my whole apartment flooded with sound. If you're looking to fill a large space, the multiple speaker option is a great feature. Battery life is listed at "up to 24 hours" but that is for low volume listening. At a little over half volume, I get a good 8 to of hours of battery.

Get You One or Two!

I had one, but returned it as i would walk home and not want anyone to steal this beautiful speaker as i have walked home and played music Walking while getting unexpected attention to people asking "dang that sounds pretty clear, is that custom?" Saying no it's UE and it's fair enough to say I've cleaned outside with this on and they were not wrong The sound is rich and clear and the bass was crispy with a punch for an attitude i didn't know this speaker had! Would buy again! Returned not for anything bad but wanted to test this out and see if the bad talk was true and to my test and music playlist, it wasn't true, will definitely be buying again next month.

This thing is great! It even comes with a convenient way to carry it around. Easy to set up - comes with awesome app that helps you sync your playlist from spotify, amazon music, etc. Great product. If you want to rock the party, buy the Hyperboom.

The base output is very nice without causing distortion. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it!

I would recommend downloading the Boom and Megaboom app on your phone, and see if you can turn the speaker on that way. If so, it could be an issue with the power button. If not, I would recommend charging the speaker for a few hours and trying again, as the speaker may not have been fully charged fresh out of the box. -Weston from Logitech.

God of BT portable speakers

Yes, there are louder speakers but you dont need any louder and none of them can even come close to the sound quality of the Hyperboom. If you never thought JBL speakers don't sound very good, put it up next to this one. You'll never look at speakers the same again. I personally don't see myself ever purchasing any other brand of speaker again in my life. I hear there coming out with something new soon, cant wait to see what it is. Likely its a smaller speaker but if they actually superceded their own hyperboom, I know what my purchase is gonna be.
