My copy of this product was defective and I returned it back to BestBuy. Was lucky to get it back under 14 days return limits. This speaker sounded great while the part was alive.

Used it successfully 3 or 4 times for approximately 2 hrs each time, worked great. After that it kept powering off after a few minutes, seemed like it wasn't holding a charge. Worked fine while plugged in but then the speaker started cutting in and out. Bottom line it was probably defective, but I didn't replace it with the same.

Its great when you're inside. But once your out there you'll want more. Battery life? Well the one I got was from Early bird sale before black Friday and it was somewhat defective I guess you really get what you've pay for, so I've returned it. Props for Best buy for easy returns btw.

I purchased this speaker on 7/10/18. I received in 4 days later and straight out of the box, it would not charge. So I googled a fix to do a manufacturer reset and it worked ok for a few days. Then the app (which you must download to pair) wanted to update the speaker. And that was all she wrote. It would no longer pair or charge, no matter how many resets I did. This happened just one day after Best Buy's 15 day return policy. Of course, right? So I called ultimate ears and they did all of the stuff I already did and pronounced it defective and that they would send me a new one. That was on 8/3. Today is 8/16 and I have gotten nothing but the runaround from them . At first UE said they would send me a replacement and then I could send my old one back. A week goes by and I hadn't received anything from them so I emailed them back and they said that something had changed and I must first mail the speaker back and then they would issue a replacement and in 48 hours I would receive a return label. That was a week ago and I have yet to receive a label. I have emailed twice and heard nothing back. This speaker is awesome when it works but once it doesn't, you're pretty much on your own. I only got to use this speaker for one week before it went south. So I spent $200 on something that doesn't work and the company won't remedy. I knew I should have gone with BOSE. You should too.

These speakers are awesome! Sound is amazing, they get loud, they work right - except when paired. Here's my story: I'm a group fitness instructor. I bought two speakers so I could have them play in a large room, and they hook up great. I paired them with the app no problem. But after about two weeks of use, the sound began cutting out of one speaker. It sounded like static flickering between the two, and then cutting out completely from one speaker. It was only seconds at a time, but still annoying. . So I took them back to Best Buy, they tested them, and it did the same thing at the store, so they gave me two new ones. One week later, the exact same flickering!! Also, one of the speakers stopped charging. I again took them back to the store, they tested, sure enough there was sounds flickering and no charge light. . They offered a third set, I declined. As a disgruntled buyer, Best Buy could not offer me anything since it was manufactures defects. . So, I spent more money and got the JBL Extreme speakers. I bought two, have them paired together, they work like a charm! I've had them about a month, no issues. Sound is loud, quality is great, people are very impressed by them!! They are bigger and heavier, but worth it to have them work right!!
