Speaker is great for it's durability and has as good quality. Not as great as a beats pill2 but it's great for the $45 I spent on it while it was on sale for deal of the day

It might sound harsh at first to call it lacking, but when you consider that this is a $100 bluetooth speaker in 2017, you would agree that the sound quality is not up to your expectations. Starting off with the bass, there isn't any. There is also a surprising lack of clarity in vocals as well. I understand that the size prevents it from performing much greater, but there has been similar small speakers that at least offer the clarity if not bass. I suppose the gripe is based on the price to performance as the sound quality is hard to listen to. To its defense, the waterproofing is great, it comes with a floatation device to keep it above water in a pool, and the software from UE is very intuitive and packed with features. At $100 though, it seems like you're much better off saving your money for the bigger, badder, epic UE Boom 2 and attaching a sealed Ziplock bag to keep that afloat instead. (Currently the original UE Boom 1 is being sold for ~$100 USD) Pros: -Small, light, and portable -Many color options to suit you -Handy band for attaching to objects -Water sealed for durability -Amazing App to complement speaker Cons: -Expensive (for its value) -Disappointing sound quality

Construction seemed solid, and the sound quality was surprisingly good for the size, but the Bluetooth operation was flaky. I tested the B/T with 3 phones & an ASUS notebook, and experienced the same issues: Intermittent operation (the audio cut out occasionally), and difficulty establishing a connection. I have 2 Harman Kardon Onyx Studio speakers which have never exhibited these issues while using the same sources. As always, Best Buy cheerfully accepted the return.

I purchased two of these speakers and kept them for about a week. While the feature to pair them together for stereo sounds is cool, the sound quality is just okay, but these are not heavy big speakers so what can you expect. My recommendation to a friends all depends on expectations of sounds quality. If you want laud outdoor sound this is not for you but if you want something to listen to while buy the pool then this product could work for you.

Awesome sound quality, waterproof, and very loud. Only con is that its not the most durable, dropped it once and it popped open. I was easily able to put it back together, but I would have expected more durability considering how it was marketed.

We already owned the UE Mega Boom which is awesome, so I thought that I would give this a try for my car. Very different sound, which I am assuming is because it is a very different price point and size. Although I think it was a good value, I just wished it delivered a more rich sound like the Mega Boom. The battery life is not all that great either.

The audio volume is ok. There is no battery meter. Buying two to create surround sound is a real pain. I downloaded the app to connect them and took me nearly 10-15 min.

I found the speaker to have decent sound, but it lacked the bass sound when playing music. I would be ok probably for someone who just needs something to listen to there music. I felt it to be a little over priced for the speaker & not bad sound

IS A VERY COMPACT PRODUCT BUT THE SUND IS NOT TO LOUD.

I bought this item for loud music play at work and it does its duty. The only problem I have is the battery not lasting all 8 hour shifts. I understand its because i play my music on full blast but it should have stated on the box that high volume level and the amount of time it dies. I also like that its waterproof:)

The overall performance of this product was only satisfactory. I was not impressed with the range of the Bluetooth capability as it was the same as a $20 Bluetooth speaker of another that I had owned.

I ended returning this for a boom jacket 2. It isn't nearly as loud as I thought it would be. The jbl flip and the boom jacket 2 are both louder than this one is.

purchased this speakers based on many online reviews, but was a little disappointed. The sound is somewhat dry in every aspect.

Got it because I was going on the trip item was on sale sounds OK thought it would be better but it is waterproof and good looking

This product has decent performance but lacks bass. I prefer the JBL flip 3 in the under $100 range.

I did not care for the sound of this. Also volume adjustments were in large increments.

Better for younger set to use. It has the capability to be used outdoors for many events.
