Great and quality sound for the size. It suprises me the high volume without distortion. Excellent when I ride my bike while I listen my music. I took advantage of the awesome dropped price offer.

You can read about the sound and whatnot from other reviews (btw 10/10). I’m here to talk about it’s DURABILITY. I’ve had this for for 3 years now. I’ve ABUSED it - dropped down the stairs, tossed on concrete, etc. But today takes the cake, I ran over my wonderboom w/ my car today. I cannot believe this is still intact (w/ minor flaws as seen in the image) and WORKING. It’s as if I never ran it over. 10/10 would buy again bc ik I couldn’t kill it.

For being the size of a softball-- No, puppy, this isn't a toy for you-- this unit provides AWESOME sound. I was so excited by it's quality to price ratio that I went back and purchased a few more-- a couple for gifts and a second for myself so I could have "Surround" sound, or sound in a couple of rooms. Having never heard of the brand before, I'm very pleased that I received the recommendation to try it out. Anyone that's willing to listen to me-- I tell them about these speakers. For the price, I don't think you can ask for more out of a little, rugged, portable bluetooth speaker. Ultimate Ears for life :)

The little WONDERBOOM puts out a pretty good amount of sound for a speaker the size of coffee mug. I'm sure audio snobs will have a problem with the amount of bass or treble, but it sounds quite good for a speaker of this size, and you can hear that sound clearly across the length of the house. The carrying loop is a nice touch, since this is a portable speaker (though it is NOT pocket-sized) and the fabric-covered frame is a tad slick. The volume-control buttons are the + and - symbols on the front, and you have to hit them pretty much directly in the center for activation. I also worry about the durability of the cover for the charging port, though this seems to be of a better design than most rubber port covers. There is also no speakerphone capability, at least not on this version. I haven't had a chance to (nor do I hope to) test water-resistance, nor drop-resistance, though apparently if floats, and the WONDERBOOM seems to be sturdier than other speakers I have tried, and according to a review from a prominent electronics website, if the fabric gets dirty, you can rinse the cover, and it should survive a five-foot drop. Did I mention, this thing is loud? It is loud enough, that while writing this review, I had to drop the volume down a good deal, as the output was painful to the ear from such a close distance. This little fella will make itself known in a big room, though I don't know if it can overpower 15-20 people in vigorous conversation. I plan to buy another to put in another corner of the living room, since these speakers apparently can pair, though without stereo effect. If you are simply looking for a loud little speaker, which really sounds pretty good, you have to give the WONDERBOOM a try. It may not have BOSE sound quality, nor the ability to pair for stereo sound, but for the price of ONE of the cheapest BOSE speakers, you can buy TWO of these. Compare them side by side (the Best Buy folks will be happy to help--take THAT Amazon), and then, make your choice. For the size, and price, and potentially 9 hours of play time, I don't think you can beat the WONDERBOOM. P.S. There is a newer model than the one I reviewed. It could perform longer and better, and pair for stereo--I don't know. I suggest you ask if those are qualities which are deal breakers.

Its a very good portable speaker, especially for the price, i managw to get it for 39 nad at that price its a steal, very loud for small speaker and good quality of music

I was looking for a little something to drag around the backyard and provide tunes from my phone while I did yard work. The size was about right but how could this small package really grab anyboyd's attention. It does this by having excellent sound quality with decent bass extension all the while being waterproof, shockproof and having a 12 hour battery life. It's not the one to get if you plan on playing loud enough to drive the neighbors into a frenzy. You can also get 2 and pair them together for a pseudo stereo set up with twice the volume. I considered the small Bose that looks likes an overgrown hockey puck but its a one trick pony, bass being its forte. The Wonderboom definitely gets the job done for me.

Wowowow. So glad I made this purchase. Tested this little guy out on a camping trip this past weekend and it blew us all away. Its small, light weight, and with the bright blue color I picked, super easy to find when you're rummaging around in your tent. The sound on this thing is really impressive. Really clear sound and nice bass for something so little. Plus it can get REALLY loud. We have a Google Home and Google Home mini at home and the UE Wonderboom has way better sound then the Mini. Plus, portability is a no brainer. Love that it has the loop on top to attach to a backpack.

Bought this to replace a Oontz 3 I bought on Amazon a while ago because it started crackling even at low volume. Saw this on sale for the same price I bought the Oontz for ($40) so I decided to purchase it. My initial impression was very positive. It sounds nice and crisp, the bass is clear and isn't muddy whatsoever. This little speaker is very balanced in my option. Overall, it is portable, water resistant, very well built and a single charge lasts quite some time. Still haven't charged it again.

I bought this speaker to replace the INCREDIBLY anemic Braven unit I previously used for listening to music while on job sites...I am VERY pleased that I did! It has good range, better than average volume & decent bass. Battery life is good, too: it ran all day at @ 70% volume while I was working in our warehouse last week and still had life left. I can’t speak to its water resistance, but I can say that it seems to be durable: it resides in my work backpack that gets slammed around a lot and has been dropped (oops!) twice from around 4feet—-once onto a concrete slab—-with no apparent effect on function and zero visible damage. One thing that I DON’T like about this unit is its inability to function as a speaker phone. I often receive calls from clients/colleagues while listening in the field, and this would be a great feature to have (the ONLY pro the Braven has over this unit). Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relatively cheap, durable and weather-proof speaker for field use.

This is my 3rd or 4th of these little wonderboom speakers and I continue to be impressed with them. Battery life is good, sound is good, and they are easy to carry with me around the garage and house. Not audiophile quality, but dang good and it can get loud when it needs to. Totally recommend

So glad I made this purchase. Very impressed with the sound/size ratio for this speaker. In fact, I dithered between 4 and 5 stars, but the sound for the size is so good I went with five in spite of some minor issues (using the controls and determining battery level is not simple). Love that it has the loop on top to attach to a backpack. It is fully waterproof and yes, it actually does float. However, the waterproof claim does NOT mean you can actually float it around in your pool while it plays - the sound shuts off while it is submerged in water. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the media controls - they're a bit confusing and not at all intuitive. The giant plus and vertical line are the volume control buttons. Tap the UE button once to play or hit pause. Press again to resume the track. Tap it twice to skip to the next song. Long press it to sync with another nearby Wonderboom speaker. Press again to resume the track. You can push both volume buttons at the same time and it gives you an audio tone to tell you the battery level. The "High" battery tone has three little chimes that are higher pitch. The "Medium" get a little lower in pitch, with two chimes. And the "Low" is deepest in pitch and only has one chime. Unfortunately, you cannot tell the battery level visually :(

After searching and trying different speakers this one beat them all. I was searching for something small enough to carry around. But I also needed something loud enough to hear in a loud warehouse. This is the only speaker that did the job. But I'm disappointed with the battery life. I needed something to last at least 4 hours, but sadly this only last about 1.5 to 2 hours when the volume is all the way up. Also there is a little loop for easy hanging. I added a caribiner to hang it on my belt. Unfortunately the loop was not durable enough and fell off. But overall it's a great speaker with great sound. The only thing I wish it had was the option to skip songs. Other than that I recommend this product if you're looking for something compact.

I needed a small, portable unit with good sound for use in the humid environment of a bathroom, in different parts of the home, and also away from home and this unit does so all of that! Great battery life, as well. The sound, for the price, is the best that I experienced in its price range and it is built to last! I use the Wonderboom daily and only charge it every 3-4 days, if that. Very pleased with this unit!! Highly recommend!

I got this on sale for Black Friday, and I could not be more pleased with the purchase! The sound quality is quite good for when you need a bluetooth speaker when doing projects around the house, listening to music in the shower etc. The battery life has been pretty decent so far. At this quality and price, you cannot go wrong if you are looking for a mid-level portable bluetooth speaker.

i’ve taken this guy all over the world with me and everyone asks how to get one ! the sound is incredible for its size and the battery lasts a long time. I was in Puerto Vallarta last year in a decent size bar and the power went out. I let the bartender use it and it made the night ! It’s rare I recommend something ! I highly recommend this !

Power sound out of such a small speaker. love the hook, and small and light. Love can take in sand and water! Only issue, is won't always connect. seems to be an issue with all the new UE's. Love the bang for the buck though. I'm not giving up on them yet.

I visited the Best Buy store with my mind set on a mini Harman Kardon portable speaker, not only for brand reputation, but because I already own one and I really like it. Unfortunately the store didn't have it available in stock, so I browse for other brands. Decided to ask the rep for his advice, and he recommended this Ultimate Ears for the price range I was shopping for. I like the design, it's portability, and the sound is better than you would expect for its size. My wife loves it. We use it for the pool, patio and even the beach. Definitely recommed it you're not looking for extreme ultimate crispy & deep bass sound. It's worth the price and it's economical. It also comes in blue and I believe green. I opted for black. What are you waiting for?, go get yours.

So I won't lie it took me a while to really decide on this product. My brother has the original UE Boom so I don't doubt the abilities or standard of UE products. But when considering what I wanted I needed something a little smaller and portable, loud, and humidity proof. I always play podcasts, audio books, and music when I'm showering, washing dishes, and other chores so I needed something I could hear over running water and stand my hot showers. This definitely made that cut. It's sound is so clear even if it isn't at the highest volume. It's short and round so it's easy to carry or throw into a bag. It even has a little hook if I wanted to clip it to my backpack. The charge lasts for days and it will auto shut off which is great because I tend to forget to turn it off. Does have a little weight to it but I don't carry it around in my hands so that doesn't bother me. They sell geek squad protection which is great because in the past for speakers I've bought it covers sound loss and Bluetooth connectivity. It's a great piece of mind for me. I haven't had problems yet and neither has my brother (he's had his ue boom for years now) but it is great to have that just in case. Especially because this speaker is a shiny penny.

I was looking for a good wireless speaker that I could mostly use in my work truck for road trips. I had been reading many reviews for different speakers and kept coming back to the UE-Wonderboom. I happened to be at BestBuy last week to return a headset and saw this speaker was on sale plus an additional $10 off on an Amazon price match... I picked it up hoping for the best. As soon as I got to my truck I easily paired it to my phone and tested it out. I am very impressed with the all around sound and Volume of the unit it was a win win for me. We can now drive cross country with tunes, Comedy, News and info. I am very happy with the quality and rich sound Great Little Bluetooth Speaker!
