This is a good sturdy mount that I used for a very large OLED TV. It swivels side to side, but not up and down. Installation is not the easiest, but we figured it out and it works great for me.

Stable, sleek, and simple in its use. I feel confident it will support the Sony A9G for the my duration of ownership for both items.

Very sturdy wall mount that is easier to hide away. Works well with my Sony X95J 75". If it was more economical, this would be a 5 star product.

It's actually a 5 star product but loses a star for being way overpriced should be about $100 or less. Anyways I ended up paying for it because it meets my exact needs that none of the cheap ones could. It's mounting plate is wide enough to span multiple studs and be able to center TV to the wall, once mounted the TV is less than an inch from wall. It doesn't wobble and it sits exactly level and flat against the wall and has ability to be pulled away from the wall. Build is all heavy gauge metal.

Easy, straightforward installation. Very durable and have zero fears about this mount. It has great lateral pivot to turn the TV in a wide range. I only wish there was a potential way to tilt the TV vertically in case you are forced to mount your TV at a higher location. Perhaps it is not feasible as the mount is designed for large TVs and a vertical pivot might not hold the weight of the TV. Just make sure you place the mount at the proper height (per the instructions) and you will be fine. Would definitely recommend.

I had ordered this open box Sony TV mount through Amazon and UPS screwed up the delivery and ended up sending it back to Amazon after holding it a week. I had already scheduled installers to install this mount and my new Sony 77" TV on the wall in just two more days. I searched the internet and found this open box unit on Best Buy's website so I ordered through Best Buy. UPS managed to deliver this mount, barely. The driver that delivered it advised me that it was on another driver's truck and that driver was going off end of shift for the day without delivering it. I needed it for tomorrow morning. He advised me that he took it off that driver's truck and made the delivery himself. That driver went above and beyond and I appreciated it. Back to the mount. It was in perfect shape and included all of the parts needed for the installers to mount my new Sony TV. It allows me to smoothly pull the TV approximately 12 inches forward from the wall as well as to swivel one side or the other side out (like a see saw action) in order to get to the back of the TV. It securely holds my new TV as it's supposed to do. There were cheaper, generic mounts available and at a cheaper price point. I preferred to spend the extra money to get a genuine Sony mount that is specifically made for my TV and I am happy with this mount. Except for the open box, all of the parts looked brand new. Which really didn't matter to me because the mount would never be viewed unless you pulled the TV away from the wall and stuck your head back there to examine the mount or the back of the TV.

Sony wall mount works fine. Easy to install. Unfortunately, I have reflection of 6 recessed ceiling lights, and could benefit if the mount could tilt the TV forward at the top to eliminate the reflections.

I bought this to mount a new Sony TV and wanted something that would be this and hug the wall closer. It really provided the closest to the wall mount while giving flexibility and a full range of motion. Only drawback - very pricey. While I was looking at the mount, the store associate found an open box that was substantially marked down.

What a solid piece of equipment. Very easy to install (as long as you have two people). But the mount itself I believe to be the best I have used.

This mount is as sleek as advertised. We're doing a remodel, so my contractor installed for us, so I can't speak to ease of installation from a novice like me. He seemed to have no issue. The TV comes in and goes out with ease. We mounted a 55" 800H to it. As I describe below, I think we could have gone with a cheaper mount, but I'm still giving this a good review and I'm overly disappointed. My only warning is think about what you're going to have behind the TV and if you'll get the full value of this mount. If you want to hide a cable box, the plug, or even the cable coming out of the wall, you likely wont be able to get as close to the wall as advertised if you have one of the compatible LED TVs. (800H, 900H, or 950H) If you are using with a compatible OLED, which has different depths at different parts of the TV, I think you'll be more likely to get it right against the wall. Also, one last warning. It does not tilt down, so if you plan to use over a fireplace, know that you wont' be able to improve your viewing angle. We knew that when we bought and are using in a space that doesn't require tilt, but I wanted to remind others.

I normally buy the Best Buy brand of TV wall mounts but I invested more money on this one as it now only swivals left and right but it actually extended out which is amazing should you also want to plug in additional HDMI or USB cords! Well worth the investment!

This is a good wall mount that was designed specifically for the type of Sony TV I purchased. I had it professionally installed, so I can't comment on the ease (or lack thereof) of installation. I will say that the Geek Squad guys had it on my wall, exactly where I wanted it, in 20-25 minutes. Once it was on the wall, it took two guys about 20 seconds to hang the TV. They obviously knew what they were doing! It's relatively easy to pull my 75-inch TV out and away from the wall if necessary - just gently grab the TV by the bezel (don't touch the screen!) in the center at the top and bottom and pull toward you slowly. You can then swivel the TV in either direction if desired. My TV is flat against the wall almost all the time - and it lies very flat. It almost looks like a picture hanging on the wall. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that this mount is a bit pricey. I got it when it was on sale for $100 off, which helped, but it was still a $250 purchase. However, it works as advertised and I knew pros were going to install it. I'm happy with the purchase and performance. If you're good at doing stuff like this yourself and you do your homework, you can most likely find a cheaper wall mount that will work for your situation. But if you're going with a high-end Sony TV and want to be as sure as possible that the install and mounting will get done right without the angst and hassle of DIY, then this is still a pretty good deal, especially if you can get it on sale.
