Customers are saying

Customers find value in the updated graphics and portability of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, along with the inclusion of new characters and the fun, classic gameplay. However, some feel the price point is too high for the amount of content offered, and a few have noted challenges with the controls. The art style also received mixed feedback.

I like to play this game a lot very entertaining. I like the characters and the moves that you able to do in the fighting games. You can play it at home or on-the-go cuz it's portable and it just a lot of fun.

Yes, another nostalgic Street Fighter release. This time it's Ultra Street Fighter II. As a fan of the franchise and of the early 90s, it's fun to revisit this game with friends my age. And with the option to have switch to HD graphics, it's just beautiful how Capcom approached it. I would recommend this game!

I love the new updated look and how you have the way of hado. However if I am just paying to play the same old game over again I wouldn't have paid full price. It is still a fun game just shouldn't be worth that much in my opinion.

Street Fighter 2, Little more forgiving on Switch

So, I've been playing this game for like 30 years. It is my version of golf. I'm not great, I never will be amazing, but its fun. This is based on Super Street Fighter 2 so you have characters like Cammy and such. This edition also has Violent Ken and Evil Ryu. Not in any game currently. You can choose between classic look and the new Udon look. Throwing fireballs could be tough for a new player, but this game seems to make it pretty easy and the input requirement for the Quarter Circle Forward movement is very forgiving. I'd say if you haven't experienced the Original in the arcade and have a Switch, it is a nice intro to where the game came from.

What could you want in a Street Fighter title for the Nintendo Switch? It's here. Razor-sharp HD graphics alongside the untouched originals, accurate gameplay, and a few new goodies thrown in. I wish Capcom would show more support for the Switch, but this is a good start.

Definitely a great trip down nostalgia lane. I love how you can switch between updated and old graphics/music. Great touch. It doesnt even feel right without the old look and sound. Been playing on classic the whole time. Then only major gripe I have with this game is not the game itself, but the controls/controllers. The layout of the controllers makes it difficult to pull off moves with good success. When trying to "haduken" I would often find myself jumping forward, because the joystick is so small and not as precise. And without the big circular D-Pad like the SNES offered, using the D-Pad to complete of move is just worthless. After alot of time playing I definitely got better, but I would find my hand cramping up over time due to how small the controllers are and the repetitive nature of the combos.

This game brought me right back to my childhood. I am drowning in nostalgia here and I don't want to be rescued. This version is so polished, crisp, and clear. Also they give you the option to play in old school mode if that suits you more.

I've been a fan of the SF2 series since it first hit arcades back in the 90s so this was naturally a sure purchase. It's great for a quick gaming fix. However, it would be even better if this game had the bonus rounds when playing single player. Who didn't love smashing up the car? I think having the ablilty to choose which version of the character to fight with would have upped the value on this tile. Ultra Street Fighter IV had that option so would didn't this? Still a great title own since the console is portable.

I've been a fan of the series since I was little, so I've played this version in its original release. It's a great nostalgia game, but the price is a little steep, it's been remastered and re-released on the Xbox and PlayStation, but atleast here you get 3 new character additions. You can also switch from the classic 8bit graphics to a smoother hand drawn style, that also uses the sound effects and voice clips and music from the recent games. There's a lot here for fans of the series, but it's mostly a niche game

This is the same Super street Fighter 2 everybody knows and loves. It might be an old game, but it still holds up till this day. The best thing about this package is that you can take it anywhere. There has never been a better version of SF2 to take on the go. The option to switch from the HD graphics to the 16bit look is a cool touch. That goes for the music as well. Over all, this is the best fighting game to get on the Switch at the moment. It’s a classic and a great game to have on the go.

Love it ! Just like old times with some fresh color changes. Controls are definitely a bit different to get used to. But we played for like 2 hours straight when I brought this game home. Now this is a classic!

When I saw the game I did not hesitate not even a second to buy it. Having street fighter with the 2 vs cpu is really enjoyable. The classic Arcadia mode really reminds me the original game.

If you are a fan of Street Fighter like me than this game is worth the price. Great to have Street Fighter II on the go. But if you are not as big a fan it might not be worth the price.

Between the options of the original art or new and being able to mix soundtrack and art together, this game is great. The joy con works great much better than expected. I have big hands and am pleasantly surprised how well it works. To put it in perspective I’m in no rush for a pro pas for this game. People complain about the price but for the ability to take this Gabe on the go besides playing online is a no brainer I thinks it’s excellent. Was nice seeing the 273 pages of art included. Ha ent seen some of these since I was a kid. Was a real treat. The Hado mode sucks not worth further mention. Highly recommended!!!

Bought this game out of shear amusement of sharing in the experience with my kids. I played this growing up and wanted to see if it held up over time. IT DOES. Quick play thorough under the easy and normal difficulty levels. Leave me filling a little unsatisfied, due to me wanting more from the game though. The controls are a bit different on the Switch which can make doing the special moves a bit harder.

Classic Street Fighter with new hd graphics, you can switch between classic or hd as well as the sound and music. I like having it on the Nintendo Switch you can play pretty much anywhere you travel or on your big screen t.v. It is a fun game to play solo or with family/friends online. Brings back old memories when I used to be at the arcades with coins hahaha!
